Runs rough with new tbelt ??? Help

Hi everyone its been a while but i finally got her running after my tbelt disaster.I have some issues and need some help

#1 I installed a new tbelt and after sitting over the winter it idles fine but when i get on the gas it boggs down and backfires over 2500 rpm. I checked the timing marks after running the car and everything looks dead on. It had almost no gas in the tank and put 5gal of fresh fuel. By accident i did go to charge the batt and put the charger on the wrong posts while charging the batt. (I know rookie mistake) Im thinking maybe a fuel issue, the fuel pump in the back was making a loud buzzing noise louder than normal????.

#2 when removing the locking tool on the flywheel i forgot how the slave cyl goes back in. There's a round piece with a point on the outer end and it looks like a ujoint end cup. sounds silly not to remember but started doing the job last sept and i dont have a garage so i had to wait till summer.
(do i need any special tools to bleed the slave cyl.)

Idles fine and bogs down immediately when giving it gas is most likely due to a sprocket being just one tooth off.

I checked the timing and its dead on. i think its fuel issue, the pump makes a buzzing noise while its running and all of a sudden stop making that sound then wants to shut off on me.
when i charged the battery i mistakenly put + to - and tryed to start the car. i checked all the fuses under the dash and all look good.????

Bogging down with throttle

I had this problem on my 1984 Euro S2 - turned out to be a vacuum line off at the front of the throttle body / plenum.
