Clutch Set up
Here is My clutch set up for my Audi 4.2L 924. got a hold of a lite aluminum flywheel Looks just like the 034Motorsports series, LuK pressure plate and Disc scored for $160 lol. **Disc is near perfect and will be spared for our 2.7T Passat. The disc pictured is a Mazda Rx8 stage 4 series good for 450ftlbs, which is plenty. it is a 240mm disc, with a 25mm/23t, also for you 951 guys, this disc is a perfect replacement for a worn out disc in your car. average cost is $70 for the Mazda Discs.

Update
I am breaking away from all stock gauges for my Audi 4.2L Swap in my 924. Main reason is I would like to try and make this car Legal in CA to actually drive around. So I am going to use an A8 cluster and, match everything up with the harness. also will have the OBD2 port set up, so I can read any codes and trouble shoot as much as possible. At first I wanted to stay stock gauges, but in the end, this will be very accurate.

Update
Modification of Harness from the 2001 A8 donor car underway, trimming it down to what is needed for my 924 Audi 4.2 Swap. leaves me with a lot of extra wiring for splicing if needed. Also the fuse block will be a nice update from the old ceramic fuses not to mention the wiring from the early 80s.

You'll probably shed about 50 lbs. of weight out of that harness it looks like.

Last Update until December.
Last update on my 4.2 swap 924 until December.
Had a good plan forward for my radiator, Brake and clutch. Plus possible Fusepanel layout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnKwLaSBGnM&feature=share |

Bit of a thought update, I have been working through ideas and ways to have functioning AC and Heating in my 924. If I leave the stock set up, I will only be able to run Heat with no AC. So my plan is to adapt a 85.5 HVAC interior unit into the cabin. I managed to get the whole interior unit for free, with wiring so if it done not end up working out, there is no lose at all, just possibly a more costly way of getting AC. reason for this change is I have to mod the firewall to keep the engine at a good location and set back in the engine bay, this mod took away the room for the stock AC unit that normally sits in the passenger foot well. Once I can work on my swap in Dec, I can get a lot more practical information.

Another fun update. since I will have the A8 Interior wiring, I will be using the A8 Headlight switch, turn signal and wiper stalks, plus the Ignition switch and key. Will have to do a little custom fab work... but what has not been custom on this whole swap?? lol., will update more as I go.

Interior Plans
I am going to be using our Family Tartan and redo the interior of my 924. Already have some good bases set up and plans. I plan to redo the Dash as well while making it to accept the A8 Cluster. Upper half will remain Leather and lower half will be the Tartan. I might do some seat work.. might.. lol
