Great Site. Just picked up a 2007 R1200S painted Red/Black to keep a 2009 R1200RT company,
Here are the twins:  Here is the Older Brother, 1984 R100 with a R90S front fairing  Here is the Rebel, 1995 Zx11, was black, then Purple, now Red.  -Jim |

It's about time someone bought that red and black S, it has been for sale for a long time on every site known to man!!! I was always sketchy of it since it was painted that way.

Red/Back R1200S
Yes I figured it had been making the rounds. I had my eye on getting a 2009 Yamaha R6, then a friend of mine turned me onto this bike. It is in great shape. It was sold new by Cycle Specialties BMW of Modesto, they had all the service records. The paint job has grown on me, the tank needs touched up a little. I wanted a black one, but the motivation level the seller had to finally sell this bike was a deal I couldn't pass up. I had passed on the bike, then got a call that my offer would be accepted if I was ready to pay for the bike immediately and pick the bike up that day. Deal was cut and I am very happy.

That old 300exc I rode in a paved parking lot once was enough to know what I'm missing.
I'm having a helluva time on my 2-smoke 250 though. Makes easy work of the trails I used to struggle with my DR350 on. And I confess, I'm an iPad addict. On it right now. It has brought my work productivity to about 25%. Not down 25%.
