It's a protection for the sensor in that location. It was offered by Wunderlich in Germany but they don't have in their catalogue anymore.

The front turn signal pods are different. Not the factory black..
Actually, a few things now that I look. Like the front fender, seat, hugger too.

Washed and waxed! New Bridgestone s22 tires front and rear. Oil and filter, Rotella full synthetic. I just got back from a shakedown cruise where I successfully terrified myself yet again. It is fast. Currently 40K miles and I've owned it since new.

I picked this up back in November. My old 520 was making an engine noise and after my move to the Kootenay’s, I needed a low maintenance bike to ride on the numerous roads in the area.
Found this used 300L non ABS with 300kms on it.
Almost ready to tour!!
Cheers

Cool bike Bryan, I love the motocross look! I was fancying one of those myself, although I don’t think I would use it as a pack mule. I would probably just do day trips.

Here’s what I am riding lately, my 2017 GS Rallye, what a bike

Should be no problem doing wheelies.
