In my case, my grandma wore flapper dresses. My dates wore miniskirts, and listened to rock and roll. At my high school, the girls skirts according to dress code had to come down to be even with their girl's thumb-tips. No stand up, hold your hands by your sides, notice where your thumbs are. That was the hemline minimum for the girls. Dang I loved high school dress codes! 18 year old super hotties in mini skirts. They ignored me then and still.






That is the plumber I want to hire!

Virginia City and Nevada City lie along Alder Gulch, which is the site of some of the richest placer mining gold site in the Rocky Mountains, with an estimated total value of $100 million throughout the 18th and 19th century. Virginia City became the territorial capital of Montana in 1865.
This photograph of Virginia City was taken between 1870 and 1879 by A. C. Carter of Montana Picture Gallery. It shows teams of mules with wagons, looking northwest from the corner of Van Buren and Wallace streets. People are on the porches of the houses visible on the hillside. Several men and boys also can be seen, along with a dog and possibly a goat in foreground.


In 1934, Wiley Post reached the stratosphere in his Lockheed Vega "Winnie Mae." The aircraft didn't have a pressurized cabin, so he wore a pressure suit and helmet designed for him by the B.F. Goodrich Company, which was also a major sponsor of the flight.


Clarksville was one of northeast Oregon's oldest mining towns. While details of the town are scarce, a detailed diary kept by a resident miner in 1864 described life in a frontier gold town. One entry states:
"Wednesday January 20 - 7a.m. drink of rum for breakfast. Another drink. Got snow shoes fixed. Another drink. Far as store. Drink of brandy... finally made Juvels cabin. Dinner. Then for Clarkes Creek. Arrived 4p.m. all okay and sober as an Irish Judge."

Can somebody decipher what’s going on?

I see:

The pipe for the gas line, but it’s not hooked up.

The expansion line, going to a drain.

The supply line, which branches off in the blue pex and the water heater and ?

The expansion tank, to prevent water hammer, but it looks upside down.

Two ground wires hooked up to the copper

Why do they have red and white hot water lines? At first I thought the two lines were to circulate hot water, but that’s a hot water on on demand system. Maybe they are two different system sent to two different locations

Either way, looks like a lot of fixtures/bathrooms/kitchens for one water heater.

I'm guessing the colors represent floors or zones. It could also be for in-floor heating.

My quick guess is the blue is cold water coming in from the ground to the heater and branching off to fixtures in the house, the red is heated water going to fixtures too and the white is recirculating water- even though it is on demand, people still have a recirc system that operates in different fashions, some are on a switch; maybe even a motion sensor to get the hot water ready.

Looking at it again, I noticed the white pex is thinner than the other two.

Also, those look like slip in fittings not crimp fittings.

Doh! I see red and blue pex all the time and it didn’t dawn on me the blue pex in the picture is the cold water to the house. 😂

We have not installed our recerc pump, but the intent is to run the tankless to get hot water at the furthest locations/shower/laundry/spigot so that when you turn on the hot tap, it’s ready. They are sometimes tied in with a switch that activates the pump for whatever Circut is demanding the hot water. At least that is “one” theory behind the three and the reason the white is a smaller ID. Oh yeah, probably the biggest takeaway, is that it saves water by running through the pump rather than running down the drain.

Disclaimer, since I do not have first hand knowledge of this particular job, I am not 100% sure what the reason why they did this. I am only basing my general deduction solely on my personal experience with installing PEX and the three colors I used in our tankless install. BTW, we have the same unit and it kicks arse. Our partially filled propane tank lasted 2 years before filling to 75% insanely efficient buggers.

Yes it was.
The arrow program was suddenly shut down and all
tooling destroyed.
They claimed the project was cancelled because
they wanted to spend the money on farmers.

later it was revealed that
KGB agents were working on the project

Soon after that, they soviets came out with the foxbat
and it shared many new design details with the avro.
