In the heart of Formula 1’s golden era, Porsche engineered a game-changing 1.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine that powered McLaren to greatness. Despite its compact size, this marvel of engineering unleashed staggering power, leading to three drivers' championships and 25 race wins between 1984 and 1986.
The engine’s intricate design—a delicate balance of power and precision—became a symbol of Porsche’s engineering genius. Its relentless turbos pushed performance boundaries, while its reliability secured a legacy unmatched in F1 history. This isn't just an engine; it's a testament to how innovation and bold ambition can rewrite the rules of motorsport.

The Porsche 944 engine is a brilliant example of Porsche’s engineering, offering both performance and reliability. Featuring a 2.5-liter inline-four, it delivered between 143 to 247 horsepower, depending on the variant. Its standout features include balance shafts for reduced vibration and an advanced fuel injection system for smooth, efficient performance. The turbocharged versions pushed power further, solidifying the 944’s reputation as a true sports car. With an aluminum block and head, the engine showcased Porsche's dedication to lightweight design and durability. Today, the 944 remains a beloved classic, a symbol of German engineering excellence.

The 1953 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Station Wagon is a shining example of 1950s American automotive design, offering both style and utility. Powered by a 268-cubic-inch straight-eight engine, it delivers 122 horsepower, providing a smooth and reliable ride. The Chieftain Deluxe stands out with its iconic two-tone paint, chrome accents, and distinctive Indian head hood ornament, capturing the era's flair. Inside, the spacious cabin offers comfortable seating for the whole family, along with woodgrain paneling that adds a touch of luxury. With its blend of practicality and classic design, the 1953 Chieftain Deluxe Station Wagon remains a beloved vehicle for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate vintage American cars

Western Electric 2A turntable, ca. 1926, was created for broadcasting & Vitaphone movie sound systems. The rare stereophonic version had a moving coil cartridge, the turntable ran at
33-1/3 rpm. Flutter-and-wow was far less than any modern turntable. Rumble was -65 dB or better. The tonearm's angular error is so low that a straight-line tracking arm wasn't seen as necessary. This was achieved with cast iron parts, ordinary copper wire, common ball bearings and a 1 horsepower electric motor.
