Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Sunny skies and 75 degrees made for a perfect fall race.
14 drivers some new and some very experienced raced IROC cars on the 4x16 4 lane track. It was fun to see some of the first time drivers do very well in their first slot car races. Running races with 14 drivers and short heats provided plenty of action and smack talking around the track. Gene is holding races next Sunday and Hutch has a new track that will be ready very soon. HO racing alive and well in San Diego.

Brass and wire chassis stuff from the 1970's (Group 12's). Vintage Cox La Cucaracha and Dynamic line.  Christine the drag car does scale 1/8th mile in 2 seconds.

This is the slot car set that was given to my Pawpaw when he bought the Dodge truck that I have. These sets by Eldon were given by the Dodge dealers. The cars and truck are 1/32 scale. I've had this set since I was 3 years old, I am 57 now. Lol.
