Carefully worded Victor. For legal reasons I dont think it can be called a bun or the brown bit be described as meat.
![]() And you probably are best off not knowing how McD's produces any of their foodstuffs.

Ew, nasty. I'm told that there's no meat in the burgers, and no real cheese in the yellow/orange cheese-flavored stuff, and that the bun-like item has no real bread in it. So you can be vegetarian, lactose intolerant, and on the Atkins Diet, and still be ok eating a McD's burger.

So what's more nauseating -- a McD's burger and fries or a Civic with Edelbrock, Holley, Solex, and Mopar stickers?
(Note I picked a bunch of names that would never go inside a Honda...)Dan

Not as funny as an RX-7 with a huge Isky Cams sticker on the corner window….. How cool he thought he was pulling on to the race scene with that oh-so distinguishing sound of the rotary under his hood.

McGriddle - isn't the syrup sort of imgregnated in the bun?
I ignored this thread forever - it was always going this way. With very lax laws on car importation, New Zealand pretty much lead the way in importing used cars ex Japan (until the Aussies and UK started too). Skylines, in all their forms --> from R32 2 litre turbo four doors up to the R34 GTR pictured are literally a dime a dozen. You even see a few of the older models. Three things struck me about this thread: - looks = subjective - women liking cars. I infrequently see Ferrari's here (despite apparently quite high per capita ownership) and when I do, they never seem to have any women in them. On the other hand, GTRs drivers never seem to lack a teenage girlfriend! Not wearing much. - engineering. All three cars in question represented a certain peak of engineering at their time (the 930 in the late 70s, the 328 I guess, and the GTR certainly for the 90s). I also thought jryerson lost a lot of credibility with this comment: "and the Ferrari is more reliable than the Porsche"

The only Ferrari chicks around here that I've seen are 45+ and plastic-enhanced.

Anybody read Fast Food Nation?
You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Here's the info on the movie about the guy who ate at McDonald's non stop: http://movies.yahoo.com/news/va/20040304/107843335700.html

I truly do not want to CPR this thread, but you would have to agree that Formula 1 is the pinnacle of racing. Is it not true that Honda dominated in the late 80's?
Also Toyota is now reaching for the prize with their team and possibly in the next couple of years it is more than possible that they could win.(Once Shumacher retires). So I know that Imports are an easy target but what more would they have to do to prove their worth in performance. A Nissan will never be a Porsche or a Ferrari but wouldn't you agree that maybe a car like the skyline would be the best (so far) that Japan has to offer and that maybe on the circuit in the future they could could be racing head to head? Who knows but keep an open mind, things change and sometimes quicker than you realize. |

Honda have had several stabs at the F1 apple,
First in the 60s with their own car and engine.......not too shabby, but not he experience they wanted to have..... They then returned as an engine supplier with Williams Then they moved over to McLaren again dominating the landscape. At the time the reference was.......the TAG engine... desgined and made by Porsche. Currently Honda are struggling (for them) in F1 as the engine supplier for BAR. Toyota on the other hand are really struggling towars the back of the grid. It will take them longer than they thought to make a go of it. Remember it took Ferrari 20 years to regain the Drivers Title after Scheckter.........and only then because they had an immensely strong team, in mamagement, design, racing and driving terms which is unmatch anywhere along the pit wall to this day. I would not underestimate eithe Honda or Toyota or Nissan. If they really want to go racing there is precious little that they cannot achieve. What about history...well they would be making it as we speak, like Ferrari were in the 50s and Porsche in the 70s, nothnig wrong with that. |

Agreed.
Where there is a will (& $$$) there is a way. But this is where it benifits us, you know most technologies are made in war, and I would say in F1. Didnt Ford/Cosworth do well in the 70's also? You cant forget Jackie Stewart and the 6-wheel F1 car! |

Don't real Ferrari's have 12 cylinders?
Now this is a "GT" car: .I've seen plenty of "rice" cars of every persuasion. Seems to me if the car can go, it ain't all show. You can like it or not, but that doesn't deny the performance. And if you need your car to get women to follow you, there are other issues...I found a puppy works best, preferably at the beach.
