Very long story short, I bought a complete running rally quattro (that's it in my avatar) and a huge stock of parts. The deal included all the Audi parts in the barn which included a complete 4000 quattro and this wrecked quattro and its engine. 2 trailer loads of stuff. Turns out, the wrecked car was owned by my buddy who was helping me

He wrecked it in the 90s at 80MPH+ into an oak tree and quit rally. He had no idea what had happened to the car until we saw it in corner of the barn. He went in half with me on the parts and hauled the car back home. I kept the engine for a spare.

Yeah, it still does. As a matter of fact, Wright originally intended for the galleries to be open to the sky. The polycarbonate panels were added as an afterthought to help keep out the winter rains.

Wright even designed all the lighting and interior fixtures.
