this kid took dads car out in the "woods" to do some 4 wheelin'. the hot cat caught the hay on fire, then, to impress the chic, he drove thru the fire, setting the engine ablaze. mom was pissed.
are you impressed with us Missouri boys yet??

My 1990 Geo Tracker is an older version of that car. My car would of blown up Pinto style in a hurry. That kid got away easy.

It's a good city car, my problem is the 17 salt filled Michigan winters ate through the fuel lines on top of the gas tank. I had to by-pass a bunch of stuff and leave the gas cap venting to keep the vapor pressure from building up too much.

Pics??

I have an 87 LWB version with a diesel conversion. I bought the thing 3 years ago, half on a dare, for $400. I figured I could just whip it like a red-headed stepchild and dispose of it. It's turned out to be incredibly stout & reliable.

I'm leaning towards a 4 door Vitara or Tracker to replace our Jetta, with an early VW Tdi engine.

Yep. I'm hoping to find one that has a bad motor from overheating, then do a diesel swap. Pics of your sammy?
