Don't most simply keep the 12 volts going with a memory keeper while changing batteries , to avoid having to relearn all kinds of crap on the car like DME, windows, steering position GPS settings, radio codes, etc etc?

you can also use some electrical wire and parallel any other 12 volt battery on the battery connectors. works fine. saves a lot of hassle on modern cars..
some cars with alarm for instance will go off if the battery is cut out , they think it's a break in

Hey Baz,

Did you recover Tucker’s Tiki perch or did you carve up another Tiki for the stolen one from last year?

random pics that YOU have taken.......

The big clean up getting ready for the long overdue annual

Need to get off my arse and get it in annual then spend the $$$ on a new sky-tec key starter getting rid of the old pull style and an updated 406 ELT.

Then I could commute to work in it again

Thanks Baz,

You bet I sure will. Ol Henry is really starting to show his age. We think he is pushing 14 and now is showing signs of old puppers in the last blood panel taken at our vet. Now speaking of family, how is Wink doing with her challenges? Please give “ALL” the girls belly scratches from Henry and us.

That’s too bad your original Tiki is still MIA but it is comforting that the thieves are destined to have their testicals infested with 100K fleas.

Yup, need to move on getting the 150 Heavy back into the air. Two seats, 22 gallons, 100HP and 90 knots of screaming terror.... 1000’s flee its approach. Lol

Diggin the new Tiki and added lights. As well as your beach pic. We have got to start searching for locations were we want to go.

Not sure if (lack of) interest in your area would be because of mileage/rust, but this truck has only lived in Atlanta so has very rarely seen snow or salt. I had to pay the ad valorum (sales tax) on the purchase when I got the tag. The retail (edit: book listed resale) price was almost $10k, which was more than $2k over what I paid. Craigslist prices are all over the board depending on condition of course. Mine's an '07 New body, below is an '07 Classic but is a comparison I found in a few minutes this morning.

Nice looking '07!

In case it's of interest, I got my '02 back in '05 for approx. $12K and it had approx. 90K miles on it. I think it came from the Georgia area as well. I'm over 200K miles now and she still runs great. 4.8 Vortec, full size (8') bed, extended cab, 2WB, 1500 base model. I added power windows.

I saw (what I think is) a golden eagle this morning - right in the middle of So Cal suburbia!

(Sure wish I’d had a real camera and telephoto rather than my iPhone!)
