A couple pics of our beach today. Lot of seaweed blown in from the onshore winds and high surf the past couple weeks.

It was wicked humid today...felt like Burma! No complaints though considering what the weather *could* have been!

Living in Charleston, I’ve been to Patriots Point many times. I’m amazed at the confined space aboard the sub and even the carrier there. Brave men all.

Looking good Baz.

This is the beach here. We have had some really nice spring weather recently.

Those are great shots of/from the Pinckney David!

I was just a tourist and kept my phone in my pocket while we were inside.

A couple more:

In early 1971 the USS Cavalla (SS-244) was moved to Seawolf Park on Pelican Island next to Galveston. Two of my buddies from high school and I decided to check it out. Found a gas mask in one of the lockers that needed modeling.

Back from 2 weeks on the lovely Hawaiian isles, one week on Maui, one on Oahu.
We've been to Kauai and Maui a number of times, love em both!
Oahu is just way too crowded for my tastes but I did want to see some stuff there, and so we did.

On Maui we like the South side, Sugar Beach area... usually get in a 2-3 mile sunrise beach walk prior to 2nd breakfast

Walks are not without risk- my lovely wife collected all these in one such walk. thick soled tennis shoes kept her un-pierced

Tried to tell this guy swimming in sand is hazardous, he did not seem to care

First Maui sunset

We went as far as possible up the NE coast and walked some on and off lava trail.

Ran into a batch of wild Maui goats. This Billy had some rather large um... horns

Some coral, lotsa lava

Lots more lava

Also drove the wrong way to Hana, up the East side. Found this beautiful Catholic church built 1862

As if electronic surveillance was not enough- Jesus was watching too!

I do enjoy to evolving nature of signs on Maui

Found Charles's final resting spot (I did a little research on him and was surprised to find out he had 7 more children with 3 German women during self exile, a busy guy indeed)

Another splashy spot

No idea when he rode into this store, looks like he overstayed though

4 of the 5 stages of cattitude:
P.O'ed. Slightly interested. Not interested and don't bother me, I'm licking

Waikiki- hey! you 35 people!!! get out of my shot!

One of the things high on my list was to set foot on the mighty Mo. Very impressive with her teak decks and amazing history.
While we were there it turns out my wife is great at skeet shooting, just needed the right spoon

Seriously! Everyone forgot their paddles?
