Thanks Pete!!
Sofa, so good. As of this hour I'm 7 days post op, haven't blown out anything, weened off the serious meds a day early and feeling stronger each day. Instructions are "resume normal activities as tolerated" sounds like a challenge and I've consistently found the "not tolerable" point daily. After I listed my "normal" activities he put the kibosh on all 2 wheeled adventures and kayaks, and blah blah blah- Basically no exercise other than walking. Walking it is then. Bigfoot? Absolutely, size 12 feet, well over 6' There were other sightings http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628270161.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628270161.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628270161.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628270161.jpg Colonial Peak with it's summit obscured and Pyramid Peak always look amazing with first snow, so clean and fresh. They promise water for future fun. Sooo lucky out here in many ways... WF smoke has not impacted us yet this year, and we got a very decent snowpack so lakes, reservoirs and such on the west side are in great shape. Wish that was true for my southern neighbors! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628270161.jpg |

Daepp, Amazing pictures. Where were those taken? If I guessed it'd be Utah.
Baz, Thank you! I have a thing for sundown lighting which is perfect for SWFL. My girl is quite a ham, I love her madly. ❤ |

Great photos David!
I've go to spend more time in the Utah, Colorado, Arizona area, my love of the desert geology has increased over time dramatically. As to the comment: "WOW!!! More Mrs. Doug, please!!!" I wouldn't say no! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG Visibility that day was off and on, but it cleared up a couple of times - and thankfully over the famous horsehoe http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG The Glen Canyon Dam - behind it is Lake Powell. And you can kinda make out the end of the tunnel where you load onto rafts (bottom center of image). http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG The tunnel down http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG The hole in the cliff wall (shot from the river) and many others serve as air vents for the tunnel, and were used for the tailings when the tunnel was first cut. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG A short hike at the midpoint of our rafting led to some pretty cool graffiti... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628709270.JPG The aforementioned "horeshoe" turn from the Colorado's surface http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628708756.JPG PS: More Mrs Doug is always a good thing.
