Wow, that was the worst episode yet. Is the guy trying to end the show in three seasons?
I was sad when sharon didn't die from the disease, but I was even more saddened when they didn't push Helo out an airlock at the end. WTFO?

Thoughts on last nights show:
It sucked. I'm thinking it was a vehicle to set up some future plot twists, such as: Helo is unfit as an XO, setting up the possible return of Tigh Providing the intel to the fleet that the Cylons goal is Earth and Baltar is helping them, maybe setting up a dis-information plot. Sharon getting preggers again. Another attempt at the bio-weapon Leading to a possible MAD scenario - truce, who knows. Just random thoughts...

I thought this episode was rather weak and rather poorly written
1. It was as if the writers couldn't decide to make the virus a computer virus or a biological one, so they split the difference. Not very convincing. 2. Of course the colonial's logic that the virus would have resulted in genocide is specious. Why wouldn't the cylons just isolate the resurrection ship like they did the "sick" Base Star? Or even just destroy it themselves. Apparently they have more than one resurrection ship, so no big deal. I guess that possibility slipped by the writers too. 3. When Apollo goes to execute the cylons, he says "Shots to the back of the heads only". If he wanted to be sure their consciousness transfered to the resurrection ship, is it really wise to be blowing their brains out? 4. How does Apollo know they were out of range of the resurrection ship when the Cylons died? There has been no indication so far in this series as to what that range is...although it must be pretty far as when the original Sharon is executed in deep space, she is resurrected on Caprica! 5. Another piece of missed logic: Athena/Sharon/Boomer has antibodies that make her immune. So why can't the doctor make a vaccine to cure the cylons from those? That's how it is done in the real world. Of course, the cylons have Sharon's baby, so they could figure out a cure too....but it's more fun to torture Baltar. Yeah...Not very well written.

I just listened to the podcast. This was a filler episode. This season is about the race for earth. i guess the finale will have a beautiful picture earth from 300 miles up.
My problem with this guy is that he doesn't have any reference for what military people would think. He uses them more like Star Trek characters. I still think the series will be good.

I don't think it was the worst episode, (the Black Market takes that honor) but it certainly wasn't as good as every episode so far this season...
I think we hold this show to a very high standard though, because it is generally very good. Still, they could be building for things to come. Baltar and Dianna ruling the Cylons? I was disappointed there was no mention of Tigh this episode...though in the previews he seems to be back in action.

Another so-so episode.
I predict they will start building to the season finally after next week's break.

I'd say that episode was significantly better than the one prior. And another fine performance by Saul Tigh. What a terrific actor.
Oh, and the next episode will give us a glimpse of the whole Starbuck/Apollo conflict/relationship. Should be interesting. -Z

This episode was awesome. My wife was miffed that it did not advance the plot, but I thought it was awesome. I like bulldog. He was good on Alias.
2 week gap is going to suck.

One thing that bothered me about the last episode (Hero)...
Bulldog found the fleet with two raiders in chase. If the fleet is so easily found, why don't the cylons jump in and shoot a few nukes at the fleet? Or, why didn't the raiders radio the location of the fleet back to HQ? Or, if the cylons pointed bulldog to the fleet, why don't they go themselves? - Skip

They're back on track.
'Passage' was a good episode. Is Baltar a Cylon? Seems they have to reveal at least one of 'the five' next episode.

"We'll throw in Baltar" seems to indicate they don't think he's one of them...
Not bad but predictable, I figures Kat was a goner the minute she asked starbuck to tell Adama herself. Oh well... |

Something's been bothering me.
"They Evolved." How did they evolve? A toaster is the evolutionary equivalent of an insect. A skinjob is the evolutionary equivalent of a MENSA member. Seems like a big leap to me. Also, they were built... Who did the designing? Surely not the toasters...

And here we are, December 8th, BSG is on and I am watching a "silent movie"? (no sound, and my lip reading talents are sorely lacking)
God, COX Cable really knows what it is doing (NOT)!!

Was anyone else glad that they killed Kat? She was such a horrible actress and I couldn't stand her character. She was competing with Chief Tirol on who could be the worst person of the show.
Baltar, on the other hand, gets better and better, and Tigh finally steps onto the deck of CIC again! It was a decent filler episode and thankfully the plot will move forward next week. The only thing that could be better than that is Starbuck's death!
