Man. Between Dresden files and B*G, this has been an intense night.

Was it Anders who said, "We're all cylons" in the teaser for next week?

Do the cylons emit some type of radio/magnetic frequency that causes the radios to sound weird?

Intense episode for certain.

Didn't you guys think it was annoying? Holy smokes, they started when they have no case?!

Admiral Adama seems like more of a rogue nitwit every episode. This is the same character that Hollywood makes every military leader out to be.

Apollo - for fraks sake. Are you kidding me? You just quit to be a lawyer?!

Anders becoming a nugget - it took them long enough. That other chick is much hotter than Starbuck.

What's up with the President's aide?

Roslin - Its good that she got her cancer back. Remember that she has to die before they get to earth. That probably means next season. I don't know if the show can go much more than one more season.

How did you like the cylon ships as an afterthought. Oh yeah, they're still there.

Who else thinks that anyone hearing the music is one of the Final 5?

So far, we go Anders, Tigh, and Roslyn's right hand babe....

Hmmm...I've been playing the last scene from "Crossroads Part 1" over and over and listening carefully. This is the scene where Tighe decides that the music is coming from the ship. It is also the longest clip we get of the music...

Play it for yourselves and listen carefully....listen for the chord changes...carefully...maybe play it again a few times...and tell me if you haven't heard this song before...like maybe you've heard it on your own radio...does it make you feel like there must be some kind of way outta here? Or am I just trying too hard and hearing things that aren't there? Am I crazy or is it identifiable? It kind of sort of is familiar to me and so it is sort of driving me nuts and let's just say I can't get no relief!

Yikes, maybe I'm hallucinating music as well and I'm a cylon!

AWESOME episode. Tremendous.

BTW: The song is the first stanza of Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower"

Quote:
"There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
The rest of the song goes like this:
Quote:
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."

"No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late."

All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too.

Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl,
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl.

Nope - there will be some sort of 2-hour "event" this fall:

Oh, and this is something that I read on scfi.com:
Quote:
SCI FI has renewed Battlestar Galactica for a full fourth season, commissioning 22 hour-long episodes of "the best show on television." This will include a special two-hour extended event that will air during fourth quarter 2007 and be released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Production will resume in May with an eye toward a early 2008 season premiere.

If that 2 hour episode doesn't start with this stand off, then I'm going to.....

Do absolutely nothing. I'll just keep watching.

I wonder if the 2-hour special will be a setup for Capria, a prequel series in the planning...

I could see a 2 hour special on what the cylons have been doing during all these episodes we've had lately. Sort of a parallel plot line ala Orson Scott Card.

Just my guess.

Damn that was good. . .

So who's the fifth one? Starbuck? Has she been "ressurected" somehow? What the heck is going on with her? Or is Adama the #5 Cylon and just "projecting" her being there?

Maybe Baltar?

Intense episode for sure. Thought it was going to be a lame/dud episode all the way through the trial and the oh-so-contrived calling of Adama as a witness (puke). Turned out to be fantastic though.

Adama (Senior) should have sent recon Raptors ahead - he had to know the Cylons would know where they were going and that they might be waiting. . . Some brilliant military commander.

Loved the "All Along The Watchtower" bit - corny, but fun. I placed it immediately (although I sort of like the U2 remake better).

Guess I'm sucked in for another season.

I said I was done but I watched anyway.

1. I called this one. Starbuck isn't dead, so no big suprise there.
2. So....hearing Bob Dylan in your head over and over and over makes you a cylon? Why? Why Bob Dylan? Why over and over? More likely hearing Bob Dylan over and over makes you NUTS. Maybe that makes the final 5 Deadheads?

3. Speaking of which, all guesses at who the last of the five might be is moot. I doubt even the four Dylan Fans are Cylons. Besides, the writers are going to drag out the guess the identity game for as long as they can.

4. My guess is that the whole current plot will turn out to be some cylon subterfuge. Some mind control weapon. Starbuck is brainwashed. They are not near Earth. Starbuck hasn't been there. The music is some artifact or transmission that the cylons discovered in the Ionian Nebula (remember they were expecting to find the next clue to Earth there) and it was either deliberately or accidentally worked into the cylon plot.

5. Nobody mentioned that Athena, the Pres and 6 all had the same vision of the opera house or how this plays into the overall plot. Baltar was also in the same vision, but nobody questioned him. I think the writers are being obscure for the sake of being obscure. They succeed, but it is not driving the plot.
