They had tons of footage for this episode. It seems like he was disappointed in this episode. At least that is what I got from the podcast. He wanted to make a bigger story for the saggitarons.

I just watched Sunday's episode, and it was lame. Near the beginning when Tyrol was meeting with Prez Roslin and Adama they had totally different personalities then they have ever had on the show. Then by the end they were back to their original personalities. Plus Adama is a horrible military leader the way he lets soldiers commit mutiny, and let's them off without any discipline.

Let's just push Baltar out an airlock, get back to kicking some Cylon a$$ already. These social commentary filler shows are getting real old.

The problem is, they can't really get to "kicking Cylon a$$". They're one military ship and a bunch of cobbled-together civvy ships that barely run. That's the point of the show.

You KNOW there will be at least several weeks worth of Baltar show-trial episodes coming, probably with a death sentence and subsequently, his ending up back in the hands of the Cylons somehow. That's my prediction anyway.

I believe season 3.5 is all about Baltar's trial. The season finale will be the trial.

Oh, and it would be nice to see more of the cylons. This is Battlestar Galactica, NOT Lost in Space, afterall.

Even so, without a Cylon resurrection ship nearby, she's gone.

There is the possibility that the raider was real and there WAS a ressurection ship nearby waiting on the far side of the planet or something - and partially cloaked by the radiation issues.

Even if the writers play that card, it means the Cylons are becoming more increasingly aware of the cosmic connection between themselves and the humans - and perhaps will be less likely to destroy them. Although it might set up a nice internal ideological struggle among the Cylons. . .

Just a theory: How about they did something to starbucks when she was captured and operated on ? How about this was not starbucks all that time but a clone of her with her conciousness ? Since the cylon can transfer their conciousness from body to body, maybe they wanted to try this on humans ?

Maybe they somehow "turned" her into a cylon in that medical facility by transferring her conciousness to a cylon body, cylon style ?

Reaching, maybe, but one of the main protagonists being a cylon seems a little odd...

First off - man, I didn't see that coming, even though the writing was on the wall throughout that whole episode, and in previous episodes.

Second - my theories:
1. Starbuck isn't a cylon.

2. There was a real raider out there. Her ship was definately hit something that time.

3. Starbuck may have ejected out of the Viper just before it exploded. You see her clutching the release mechanism as she's talking with Apollo moments before.

4. The raider may have swooped in and snatched Starbuck out of the sky.

5. That oracle may be a cylon. How else could she have known word for word what Leoben told Starbuck? Unless, of course, the gods intervened...

Throughout the series, it has been stated again and again that Starbuck has a destiny. I don't think her comitting suicide is how her destiny is fullfilled.

I'm holding on to that she ejected and the Cylons picked her up. They will milk it much more before letting us know if she is a Cylon or not. I'm 50/50 on this.

I'm sticking to my original theory that Baltar is a Cylon or a clone of some kind. The nuke blast that took out his old home had to of destroyed his first body.

I'm 100% on it. This show is becoming very predictable.

First, there REALLY was a raider out there...something hit her windscreen.

Second, you saw her hand go to the eject.

Third, the mystic told here Leobon was coming for her...likely he did.

Fourth , they aren't going to kill off one of the main characters.

Fifth, this show is jumping the shark. I mean Kara has been presumed dead a couple of times. They writers need original ideas and they need Cylons with GUNS.
