I can't wait for it to start up again. I plan on rewatching the first two seasons starting this week, and hope that season 3 will be out on DVD before the start of season 4.

The 9 month wait is a bummer, but it had better be worth it! Still can't believe Tigh is one of the toasters, and I really don't believe that Starbuck is one.

It's the Pegasus story arch - when the Galactica and Pegasus were together after the second cylon attacks.

On the scifi.com/battlestar website they are showing a new 2-minute webisode a week in a series called "Flashback" -- that story arc is when Bill Adama was a wet-behind the ears fighter pilot.

Best part of Razor: The scene in the old cylon raider and "By your command." Nice nod to the original show.

Worst part of Razor: the Quiznos "reveal" of Gina and Cain plus the GLAAD ad at the end. Pushing an agenda a bit too much, IMHO.

Can't believe I have to wait until March for the start of Season 4....

Don't mind the lesbian theme at all, seemed appropriate for the character. Always thought Cain had a penis anyway.

Just found it missing something. Like a nice threesome scene.

Ahem.

I'll have to go back and re-watch for the "by your command" piece, missed that somehow.

The start of season 4 was probably pushed back to March (from January) due to the writer's strike.

They finished filming the first 13 episodes of season 4, and are hoping to get the rest done when the strike is over.

Production wrapped on episode 413 late last night, and there’s no certain date to resume shooting. No more scripts exist. My office staff has been laid off. My cast has been suspended, without pay.

I refuse to believe that we won’t finish, that we won’t be back to film our final stories, but I know and accept there is that possibility. The strike will be a seminal event for many of us in this business as it’s put literally everything we care about in the balance (if only for a short time so far) for something we all believe is important.

Writers talk a lot about the strike, about the reasons we’re out on the picket lines and our feelings and experiences in the business. It’s been an interesting three weeks. I’ve connected with more scribes in the last few weeks than in many months before and I come away from it to date with a sense of optimism about the solidarity of the membership and admiration for my peers.

Galactica’s coming back, I frakking promise you that. But I am ready to put the rest of the story on the table and take the risk that I’ll never be able to tell it, in support of this strike.

Like Adama says, you make your choices and then you live with them.

I started watching the tape a second time. There are lots of little things you can catch once you know how it works out. The little things seem huge now.

The writing in BSG was starting to falter at the end of last season, so maybe it's high time for the series to simply end anyway.

For a while, BSG had some decent writing. It's a shame it ended up getting dragged down to the level of all the other crap that Hollywood routinely pumps out - thinly veiled personal political agendas, etc.

The whole "wait until 2008 for resolution" thing was crap too. Big turn-off for this fan.

Maybe bringing in some scabs wouldn't be such a bad thing for the series - get some good writing going.
