Denial? I've said nothing about Democrats. And that's because the sins of Democrats is not the topic of this thread. On the other hand, your best defense of this "administration" is probably to change the subject.

The interesting thing I have heard discussed fairly often lately and which I have not added to this discussion is the terrible hit that the Republican Party is going to take when the truth finally comes out. We conspiracy theorists are truly scratching our heads. We have never believed any of the many justifications offered for the Iraq decision. There is something else. And this "administration" is the most secretive in memory. But some of us understand that the rest of the truth always comes out. Eventually. And the nation is going to gasp when it does.

Terror in the Polls!

Someone with some free time on his hands did some digging into the relationship between terror alerts and presidential approval ratings.

Given you obviously see some truth in the young-skull-full-of-mush's thesis, surely you could see the eventual effect of constant hammering by Democrats and their media friends -- accusations that need not be true, conspiracies that have no basis in fact, outright lies, race-baiting, class-warfare rhetoric, giving high-output amplifier treatment to the negative and putting a muzzle on the positive.

Surely if you accuse Bush of an occasional terror threat warning (damned if you do, MURDERED if you don't) strategerically placed to influence polls, you can see how the above leftist drumbeat of deception has driven down his polls.

Why didn't Clinton take Osama when he had the undeniable chance?

Why was Sandy Bergler shoving secrets down his pants, in preparation for Clinton's appearance before the 9-11 [C]Ommission?

This thread will soon be followed by "Republicans in jail."

Delay, Frist, Abramoff (and everyone connected to him)... of course, Haley Barbour skated on the ChiCom contributions to RNC, but the Republican "Culture of Corruption" is about to catch up with the big fish in the party who seemed to think they were above the law.

Funny thing about the "culture of corruption", a few weeks ago one of the talk shows on the AM dial was talking about a democrat memo that was circulated telling the party folks that the buzzword was going to be "culture of corruption". Of course over the next few weeks the phrase came out of every democrats mouth on the tube. At least you further the party line, Tech.

Better that than furthering Republican Party lies and corruption.

"Culture of Corruption" sounds nicer than "Kings of Cronyism".

I've heard the phrase for weeks. It fits.

Funny, there are over 400 recipients of the RNC 'talking points' memos that go out every week. You can watch the same synchronized phrases come out of the mouths of every administration spokeshole on the "news" programs on a regular basis. But the Repubs haven't had a really good, catchy phrase since "tax and spend."

Just figured that needed underscoring.

Yeah, Republicans would never do that...

Kinda like the current administrations' early investigation into 911. Shut down US airspace except to allow Osama's family, friends and other Saudi pals to jet safely out of the country. Different team, same play.
