That isn't racism. That's simply not liking the way young black culture is right now. It has nothing to do with racism. If young white kids were driving down the street with their 20 inch rims and rap music thumping I bet your dad would have the same response.

Racism is where you pre-judge something simply based on race.

Exactly right. Disliking a culture, or where a culture has gone isn't racism unless the opinion or dislike is solely race based. If an elderly black man hates black youth culture, that's not racist, nor would it be if an elderly white man thinks the same way.

Proving that he knows damn well that if he puts down anything else that it does not get it approved as easily.

And no, that's not a guess. He and I actually wound up becoming close friends. Have known him for 13 years now. He and my father had some common interests and became close as well. He was there day one when my father passed and was a huge help in settling dad's estate.

You have no clue what you are talking about and there is no way that you can convince me that what I hear and see every day of my life is not real so don't even try.

Pat is correct, kiddies. Although the PC mongers (some of those who also brought you Ebonics), say it is encourage racist spin on dislike of culture, and that simply is not true.

I knew a Filipino who, back in the Phillippines, ate dog. Many (here in the U.S.), found that quite disgusting. But no one had issue with the man being Filipino, just his culinary tastes.

There's a big difference.

Getting back to white privilege - no, it's business. In America, making money and obtaining success in most non-entertainment cases (vis-a-vis music, acting, sports), has traditionally held a strong degree of prejudice. Yes, there are exceptions to that degree, but not many.
