Well, not long term then. There are a few that like to play. And I always have room for more..
I thought about long term a while back but she quickly killed that dream, so now I'm back to my old ways. the universe wasn't ready for a G-man with a steady relationship yet... Dave, sounds great. Does it sound like an original LP?? or is it a very distinct, different sound?

I think it sounds like a Les Paul, my old instructor did as well. I have no idea how it ranks among the vintage though. The sound will change as well. The magnets in the pick ups weaken over time and are also influenced by there surroundings. The pups were wound in the traditional fashion to try and get close to the sound, so I have that going for me. I'm sure the tomes are brighter and sharper now and will mellow with age - like the real ones.

A freind of mine is a great double base player. He has built up a few from a shell, but nothing like the work in your job. Then it would be a big job to do a DB from scratch?
