It's starting to get noticeably cooler here, mornings are now around 8-9C. I don't want to see Winter anytime soon, if ever!

That's today.
Not really a date, more of a get together with a chick. Nothing's going to happen.

Okay I stand corrected. Have fun. I am on my way to the scrap yard to dispose of lawn mower carcases and such.

Rick, the inevitable property cleanup before a sale. I did that for my 1st house. I lived there for years but just before selling it I upgraded the electrical panel, painted the house, and put on a new roof. It was so nice I did not want to leave

When my brother got this last house, he updated everything BEFORE he moved in. And the house was only two years old.

There's this guy that works his own shop at the back entrance of Mahle's factory, eg he is connected.

He will provide you with whatever piston you want, if you can tell him what you need.
Now that sounds simpler then it is... Especially if you think about funky domes.

But if it 's a stock piston, he might be able to help you out.

And i've ordered solar panels, to be installed early november.
Governement is having to make spending cuts, so i suspect they will stop subsidizing solar installtions..

i'm now using about 3000 Kwh per year

They will put 14x240 Watt peak panels on my garage roof worth about 2960 Kwh a year.
On sunny days, my meter will run backards.

Best thing :

the price, 10500 euro - 620 euro from teh city - 40% on my tax return
On top of that i get 270 euro per 1000 kwh produced, per year, guaranteed for 20 year

Oh , and the 2960 Kwh per year i can have that for free. It's a no brainer
I'm break even in 4 years, if the energy prices don't rise. If they do, i'll get even more profit.

Thanks, I'll see what he can do for me.
I'd rather go stock pistons than something more exotic and more expensive.
A set P and C to go to 3.4 is going to leave a gaping wound in my wallet.
(I'll only go that route if I really can't find some nice 3.2 pistons and have to buy cilinders as well.)

If that guy can get his hands on a new set of 3.2 pistons (and wrist pins) that would be great!

wrist pins always come with the pistons.. or at least they should.

Wahl uses stock Mahle piston blanks, then cuts em to spec himself.
He might simply be able to get a loose set of Mahle pistons for a stock 3.2 carrera via Mahle.
But you'll have to be sure that our pistons are fully in spec... You might have to ship them over to him.

Wahl - Spezialkolben GmbH

Check with Peterfrans on the forum here, he's dealt with Wahl before , he needed some rs spec made...

Yeah not going to do that. The house we are wanting was built in 1898 Only a 100 amp service so I will be doing some electrical before I can move in. I use more than 100 amps for surfing porn.
With the price I have and the extras, I ain't gonna be doing too much to this place, I took paint and such into consideration when I priced it.

I mailed him already.
Would I need to send my set to him?
I would prefer a completely new set.

Stupid thing is, my pistons look great it's just that the wrist pin does not fit snug anymore. It falls right through (but there is no play whatsoever when you wiggle them. My mechanic says that they have to fit very tight and not move or the will start to run in and give major doodoos later on...
