evening Gents!
Doc: checked out the vids, nice, looks like you are having fun, who plays the tamborene?
Still raining, the TV is making a big thing out of the major dams on the east coast starting to overflow, hasn't happened for 14 years apparently, even the little dam on Lake Burley Griffin, the ACTs man made lake in the middle of the city, (loooks like Lake Geneva) has all of the nations Parliamentary triangle set around it, anyway the cam is overflowing and that only happens these days every 10 years or so, pretty specky. The kids want to go down and have a look as they have never seen it before. Roof has been leaking, aaaaaaaaaahhh!!!! We had a major reno about 8 years ago, and the roof has leaked here and three ever since. The roof is tiled and maybe we should have had colorbond tin or something else, but the area has mainly glazed tile roofs. Hubby was up in the roofspace yesterday with a silicone calk gun plugging a couple of holes, not happy, like a couple of you guys he is a tall stick, and he looked like a huge stick insect tring to fold himself into small spaces and gaps getting around through the roof trusses, I thought it was funny, but he didn't. So since is it raining again, we will see if that worked. Although we have another patch which we still have to fix, again, we have fixed it heaps of times but it just keeps coming back. Got to go, the local Magpie population is singing to me outside the dining room window, time for a feed. see ya

The Doc is a one-man band. He kicks the tambourine with his foot. I agree, it is very well done.

Azzy, we're getting the rain, too, although I think we're a still quite a ways from ark building here. My sympathy to you and your hubby...dealing with a leaky roof sucks.

This is from 2010.
![]() It is a lot of fun. Even an old stock 85 911 with 145,000 miles on the engine can hit top end of 3rd gear on the straights. We always slow it down with cones and a lot of gates to keep it as safe as possible.

It is a fantastic facility. We ran the autocross in parking lots for many years. This place is just wonderful. The club makes enough money every year at the autocross that we give a lot of money to charitys. We have given away over 12 grand in the last few years. And no it is not the Glen needs a GT3 charity.

Glen, I'd nominate that charity, so long as I get to be on the advisory board, and drive the car on occasion....

Howdy, Rick.
You were right, the 930 started first go. Drove it to the porsche mech in Melbourne yesterday. He said I should have it back in about a week and a bit. Just in time for track day at Sandown Raceway on the 17th.
