I'm like you D, I'll keep wearing them jeans until the jatz crackers start hanging out :)

Huh? She spends a lot of time on her knees? Max, that the sort of girl you need to get to know. :D

punk. duh. :D

i am now 43, so my earliest music influences were pink floyd and punk bands, such as billy idol, the sex pistols, etc., the cure and siouxie siouxe, generation X, the clash, BAD.

Flieger 11-21-2012 06:15 PM

So, that would be 1991?

nynor 11-21-2012 06:23 PM

oh, you mean YOUR AGE RIGHT NOW....

i was charting my influences from the age of about 11yo.

i guess you have to add bauhaus and such to the mix.

Flieger 11-21-2012 06:25 PM

Ah, ok. When you mentioned the pictures I thought you meant in your early 20s.

nope. i meant late teens.

i get that you are older than that. music influence happens much earlier than that. if one is still doing the things in one's twenties that i was doing my teens, one will be going to the big house.

Working on it. Because of the tire fiasco. I could not get my car back to my parents earlier this afternoon. My dad and I went to go pick up his plane, so I just got the car back into my parents garage. I won't be able to touch the oil drain plug issue for a couple hours. :(

Chip is back in the DME and three nuts are off the cat. Just have to wait until it cools off more to get the rest without ending up with even more blisters on my fingers.

I watched the movie Crossfire Hurricane. It is the story of the stones from the very early days up to the mid 1970s. I just wonder how many kids today saw their parents in the films. I can just imaging some girl of today being stunned to see her mom as a Stones groupie.

azzarule 11-21-2012 06:50 PM

I really do think that there is a generational thing for todays younger generation, that they are stretching their teens ibnto there mid to late twenties, anyone think the same?

By that, I mean we goofed off, we doped up, we boozed out, we did 'stuff', but by our late teens very early 20s, we had mostly cleaned up and become useful members of society,

slodave 11-21-2012 06:51 PM

I'm stretching it as far as it can go!

Azzy, I never ever did the dope or drugs. Just beer and one bottle of Mad Dog 20-20 :)
