They are forecasting the s word here for Christmas or the day after. They are even saying a possible Blizzard. Pete, do you have a trip scheduled through Oklahoma soon? It must be your fault! Don't visit until summer!

I saw we hide his keys until late spring. :)

GH85Carrera 12-18-2012 04:03 PM

But someone would have to drive up there through the s-stuff to get his keys!

Peggy and I can handle it. He owes me a cup of coffee anyway. :)

pete3799 12-18-2012 04:19 PM

Please....somebody come get my keys.
And take the highlander keys too.
Been doing a frt. wheel bearing and managed to break one of the caliper mounts off the steering knuckle while trying to press the old bearing out. That sucker was STUCK.
Got it welded by a local pro (cast iron) so i'll put it back together in the morn.

Rick V 12-18-2012 04:27 PM

Should I bring my on car bearing press with me?

pete3799 12-18-2012 04:39 PM

Please do:D
How do you pull the hub in place?
Things were so rusty that i couldn't even get the bearing retaining clip out. So i took the whole knuckle off.

instillation is a simple ram/receiver reversal.

We had a big Christmas blizzard in 2009. Over one inch per hour and 40 MPH winds all day long. It was no joke. In the 34 years I have lived here I remember 4 or 5 blizzards, and many big assed snow and ice storms.
