Trying to get everything ready so we can bug-out on our work-cation. Been hopping since coming home.

how long are you going to be out there this time?

Wish I had an older house that I was renovating, we have renovated before, but we were always living it the house at the time, so to have a second house that you tripped back and forwards to would be great. Sort of a dream of ours too.

Stijn!!

Burppppp. Whew that was some good Cajun food. Our waiter was 22 years old. He was born the year we were dating. I have shoes as old as him.

Azzy, we're going to be there 2 weeks. I don't know yet when the car is expected to arrive. I hope it'll be within a week from now. We have a lot of small tasks this trip, and we'll meet with our kitchen contractor (a Pelican, BTW) to finalize the design and kick that remodeling project off. Towards the end of this year, we'll start work on bathroom remodeling.

It sounds like dinner went well, Glen. I had pizza for pi Day.

WHEEEEEEEEEE
Holy crap it's amazing what updating to the newest OS, a few EFI tweaks and quadrupling RAM can do for a laptop. My four year old Macbook can hang with new Macbook Pros now!

Always a bummer to almost finish a jigsaw puzzle and find it has missing pieces.

Got a cheap picture puzzle on sale at the grocery store. It had seven pieces missing and 3 doubles. That was really weird. Not sure about jigsaw quality control, but how do they know there are missing pieces, count them. And then if there are missing ones, do they replace them any extra pieces they have laying around?

Another one had all the pieces, but there were 3 extra pieces of wildly different colors obviously from another puzzle.

Assuming these cheap puzzles were made in China, what sort of weird mind trick or joke is this supposed to place on us American consumers besides making us not purchase that brand of puzzle again.

Today is also my 21st anniversary. We will be going to the same restaurant where we had our first date. I don't need a menu. I already know what I am gonna order.
Happy anniversary Glen. All the best to you and your bride.

Busy day at work catching up. Most people could see I was still not too flash and left me alone. I had a comment from my driver when I jumped in the car to come home, 'are you still grumpy'. I must have been a conversation piece today? Anyway, TGIF and I'm off to go find my bride and get liquored up. Catch y'all later. Hooroo.
