how to lose my business in as few steps as possible....
1. some how turn off my managed virus protection.
2. tell me you pulled a ticket and will get backto me as soon as possible.
3. business contact sends email telling me that by the end of the month they are canceling the service.
4. tech support takes three hours to figure out that ops we turned it off on accident.
5. tech support has no idea about service change email.

Some where between 2 & 3 we moved it all to another serivce.........

That sound like a simple way to lose some business. Next they need to send a large bill for all that great service.

I think the boss is going to send them a bill for my time of having to reinstall it all.

So it was warm enough to have skin exposed?

Well, it's official. Doc says foot is moving backwards because of the cheap gauze they have at the pharmacies. Now I gotta find some of the right kind of gauze AND what's worse, am back to full time staying horizontal, arrrgh. Think I am going to have to stock up on sleeping pills and pain killers and knock myself out for a week or two.

Glen, really enjoyed getting out for lunch today, looks like it will be a while before I can get out again.

Long before I used up my sick leave I went on short term disability.

That's no good Richard. I hope they get on top of it quickly for you.

I'm not sure, but I don't think disability covers manflu. I've got somewhere around 900hrs of sick leave that will never get paid out.

Way back when my Dad retired he got to cash in both his accrued sick leave and vacation time. That was back when good companies offered great health care with no copay, and it was NOT an entitlement.
