I got one of these to replace the single DIN radio in the Rover.

Has all the modern usb and bluetooth connectivity/streaming stuff and surround sound.

Looking to do the car pc thing in the 928 after converting the console to fit a double DIN unit.

very nice Richard

One of the mechanics I took my Rover to evidentially took my owner's manual that had my radio codes. Called the RR dealership and they gave me the code from the VIN number over the phone.

Radio has not worked in the 928 since I got it. Instead of fixing the radio I made the exhaust louder.

I thought the JVC unit was cool because it is all touch screen. No knobs and only one small button.

About the only thing it doesn't do is NAV, but it streams audio wirelessly from my iPhone that does do NAV and Pandora/etc.

I have a slab! If you have the tools!! lol

Back at 5SQN the boys had a whole room set up for shonkies, the RadTechs ran a small business it funded their christmas parties, and did a great job of teaching future repair men all about every type of tv, radio, stereo etc.

Hehe.

Foreigners are a good thing, not only do they supplement the grog at parties but they keep you busy when work's slow and add to your skills. Every RAAF workshop had a dedicated area for them.

Didn't matter what it was, the all had the standard charge of a slab. ;)

I understand from the recent Apple Developer's conference a lot of car makers are going to integrate the iPhones ios7 so deep the touch screen in the dash will be a second screen for the phone.

Hey Rick,

This forum is giving out codes for free. Free is always a good thing. :D

Blaupunkt radio code needed

Went all geeky today. Been playing with a cheap wireless network pan tilt camera with mic and speaker. It has an iPhone app that can be used to operate the camera. No idea what to use it for, maybe to answer the front door or monitor the garage.

RKDinOKC 06-17-2013 07:06 PM

The literal translation of BLAUPUNKT is Blue Point.

No sleep driving by thumping road turtles.

porsche4life 06-17-2013 08:50 PM

I do just fine with the sleep driving. ;). I've driven enough now that I know when it's coming and get off the road.

Yeah, there's something about seaplanes in general that's always captured my imagination.
That one is supposed to be a great beginner kit in general......take off and land on short grass with no problem...

Whenever my nitro trainer decides to come down from the tree, the electronics and engine are going to be salvaged for a float plane kit
