Nynor, what tool do you need for the Duc? Something for the dry clutch I take it? I've done the right side seal on wet clutch Ducs with no special tools...
Just weird that you couldn't find the seal for the Disco.....those things are everywhere, you'd think parts would be easy to some by... |

Finally calling it a night. Fought the stupid spacer sleeve thing on the lower balance shaft for the better part of three hours. It was a beyotch the last time too. Apparently some nice person mushroomed the end of the shaft at some point in the past. I finally got it polished back round enough to get it all taken apart. I had the upper off and resealed and back on in under 20 mins.... Shouldn't have been such a hard job!!!

Get off my lawn!

Morn Rick and the rest. Today is the day I graft an extra fan to the condenser of the Elky. I bought a 12 inch Spal fan and relay. Trying to mount it without rubbing on the condenser will be the challenge. My hope is to get better AC when sitting at idle on hot days. When moving the AC is wonderful and blows 40 degree air and altos of it. At idle the temp goes up quickly. The water temp starts to rise as well. With the fan I hope to beep both cooler, and me cooler.

Morning y'all.
Going to see ZZ Top in a couple of weeks, now that should be fun. 5 rows from the front of the stage. Raining here, sitting having first coffee of the day, and watching motorsports on the TeeVee.

Nice one Azzy. That close to the stage will give you a good view.
Watching Wheeler Dealers here (some knobhead decided to play with fireworks again and woke me and all the neighbourhood dogs). |

Funny. Some fcukwit let off a bloody mortar shot last night. Scared the cat sitting next to me. I figured the Mexican futbol team must have done something special.

Yes... The 2.5L is literally half of the 928 V8, so the cylinders are on a slant, and thats why its a bloody massive thing. So there is a balance shaft up high and to the right of the cylinders, and low and to the left.
