Paper pile?

That is so analog.

You should do it all digitally!

Have you at least said "Ne" to anyone?

Porsche-poor 08-26-2014 02:43 PM

Not yet but the day is not over.

HHI944 08-26-2014 04:48 PM

Got an order for 30 more shift knobs today. I've put my completion out of business. The guy in Mexico isn't selling many at all.

Porsche-poor 08-26-2014 04:56 PM

Better product.

RKDinOKC 08-26-2014 05:12 PM

Did not know you had competition.

slodave 08-26-2014 06:19 PM

There are three of us in the Pelican catalog, plus at least one other in Europe that sells some via the 914 forum out there.

Is yours marked as made in USA?

slodave 08-26-2014 08:45 PM

Nope.

Found out today that a Canepa 917 that was at Monterey has one of my shift knobs in it.

Porsche-poor 08-26-2014 09:37 PM

Cool. I'm putting one on my Xmas list.

slodave 08-26-2014 10:24 PM

For those that are not on FB...

One of my shift knobs is now in a real 917. :)

That is cool Dave.

Congratulations.

Good Hump day morning folks.

Porsche-poor 08-27-2014 06:21 AM

Morning all.

GH85Carrera 08-27-2014 06:33 AM

I have finally recovered from my ordeal yesterday afternoon. I had a live human customer in the office picking up his order. As he was leaving another customer walked in and ordered an aerial from 1980 of an intersection. Now I have to get another order done and I did not get my nap between the two customers arrival and departure. I was exhausted.

It is a good 25 or 30 minutes of work for each order. I need a nap.

Porsche-poor 08-27-2014 06:54 AM

take two to make up for the loss of yesterday.

GH85Carrera 08-27-2014 07:09 AM

Actually it really has been busy. I have had the scanner running non stop since yesterday. The home office sent some of their film to be scanned at 10 microns. That makes a 500 MB tiff file in black and white. It is around 24,000 pixels square.

I have several constructions sites that we flew monthly progress updates on and then them pesky customers that show up. If the customers would leave us alone I could get caught up on my web surfing and napping. ;)
