I was going to post something funny, but your last post is pretty sad, Jeff.
Sorry, it is pretty sad. Especially since the waterhole/creek that the kids (locals and 12 - 15yo's) were swimming in was well sign posted as a known habitation zone. Sad for the family.

OK, here's the chuckle: My cousin just bought a BMW 2002 ('74 Tii, no less). He posted a pic on FB. I showed it to my wife and told her he bought a 2002. Mrs. Noah took one look at it and commented: "Wow. It looks older than that."
Hehe

What is it about don't change stuff that some people just don't understand?

Sister is visiting and doing her rearrange Mom's stuff thing again. Sister isn't even sleeping here so she doesn't have to deal with Mom wondering around till 4 or 5am asking where everybody is and/or telling me she lost something and can't find it, or that somebody is taking her stuff. And what's worse is the effect of this is Mom loses a little more cognitive ability every time she is put thru this.

Arrrrgh. It already takes 2 hours to get her to brush her teeth, wash her face, and put pajamas on before going to bed.

Are you sure those bones aren't cigarette butts? Get a fresh drink, not drink out of the half empty glasses, bottles, or cans found laying about from the night before. Those will grow hair on your tongue

Had a visitor from Oz for the last 10 days so have been negligent in posting anything.

But on the up side I have visited a few DC landmarks again!! Even though it has been bloody freezing. We breed em tough in Oz! Not!!

I suspect there will be a lot of people asking why anyone thought a Super Bowl in NJ was a good idea. It sounded stupid to me when I heard that was the location. I bet they don't do a cold outdoor venue again.

Good Monday morning folks.

Azzy, did you go back and read all the posts you missed? You need to catch up!

Another strange customer call.

A guy calls and wants an aerial of a piece of land in the mid 1950s. I tell him we have 1955.

He begins his diatribe about how his huge lawsuit needs the aerial. When he asks how much we charge he just can't pay that much. I said OK, well I can't help you then. He tries to make a deal. I told him we have a fixed price. 100 bucks gets him the photo. We don't do it for practice or fun, we sell photos for a living. I told him if it is for a big lawsuit the other side will call us and we will sell it to them. He can see the picture in court when his attorney has to pay the other attorneys for a copy and they add the attorney costs for several phone calls to the price for them.

You mean you guys fly around in an airplane and take pictures then sell people copies of those pictures?

That sounds like it would work a lot better than the Piranha brothers first operation. That was were they went around and threatened to beat people up if they gave them money.
