Since he hasn't posted can only assume the worse and he had an aneurism or something come 5pm when it did not show up. Or He is jacking his car up and down and having too much fun with it.

It arrived!
I have it unpacked and raised up and down. I did not raise up a car yet. It works great. I will get a car raised up this weekend. Pics to follow.

That's great Glen!

Well, had to print, fill out, scan, and email some DOT paperworks stating specifically what the car parts were in the boxes. The wheel guy in UK just put car parts, motorsport parts, on the bill of lading. If he had put car wheels on the lading they have just sailed on through and would not be sitting in customs for a week.

Congrats, Glen. Say, now that I think of it, my garage queen is about due for an oil change and I was wondering...

I have it in place, it has wheels so it is not impossible to move. One thing for sure a 100 lb woman (or a 100lb man) would not be able to move it. The handle hooks into a little trailer hitch gizmo and the wheels let you move it around with some grunting and cussing. You have to put some weight on the handle to get it to tilt back.

On this shot only the top left lift pad is in place. It comes with two sets, one short one taller for trucks. The arms swing and move to allow you to position the lift pads to the proper spot.

You can see the little thingy sticking out on the base of the power unit. It goes into the hole on the lift when the lift is in the down position.

With the lift pads off I can park the El Camino over it with no problem. With the lift pads in position I will need some 2x12 planks on the floor to raise the car up high enough to clear it.

The next project is to cut a pit that is just deep enough to drop the lift into and make the top of it flush with the ground level. I wanted to have the lift here to make sure the pit is the proper size.

This weekend the Elky gets an oil change!

Just drive it over and bring some oil & a filter. We can do it easy!

It is about 1,600 miles each way from your east coast house to my house.

I really want to spend the weekend playing, um working in my garage but.....

My mother-in-law has been visiting for the week. Now we have some other relatives coming down tomorrow. The guy is about 6ft 5 inches and has size 13.5 - 4E feet. For some reason he has to have custom made work boots. There is a local boot-maker in cow-town part of OKC that can make them. He is getting a custom pair of work boots. We will spend the day with them. On Sunday I finally get to play um work in the garage. I am due an oil change on the Elky.

well crap we had a power outage on Wednesday that killed the home computer. Guess what I get to do this weekend? Order one or go find one.

You got crap in your well, your power went out, AND your computer died...that sucks, unless, you don't use the well water, the toilet still flushes, your fridge didn't spoil, no pipes froze, and you needed a newer computer anyway.

How does one answer that post? How about:
No well on city water but I bet it has crap in it.
The power faded out (brown out style).
The computer so far is the only electronic device that is not working and yes I needed a new one.

Sound like the perfect excuse to 'buy your wife' a new computer and then you'll have to buy a whole bunch of new tools for some reason.....
