Think Glen was referencing the size of the Tesla Roadster and since it is the a Elise chassis the Lotus also being way too small.

My 914 had A/C. Only car I've ever been in that on a 108°F day with the A/C on it's warmest setting, I had to open the window because it was too cold in the car.

The Elise is a bit.......compact.
Mine was designed to be a bizarre take on a GT car so it's really rather comfy....getting in and out is interesting though.....especially with the top up

Yep, way too small for normal size or fat American adult men. If I was a 5.5 110 lb dude racer wannabe it would be a fun car.

Driving a light low HP car is fun. I loved my 914. I could run through the gears to redline and after 10 seconds be up to 60 MPH. I flogged it on many autocross courses in SCCA and had fun competing and beating original Mini Coopers and Lotus Super 7s.

When it rains it ****ing pours. Threw the bad tire from the escape in the back of the Porsche and headed to get it fixed. Made it about 7 miles and the Porsche stumbled and died. I coasted it to a parking lot and now am waiting on a tow

We all like cars but we want an appliance reliability and cost. It just sucks when a car fails us. It is usually some small failure. A few months ago I drove my El Camino to a store and when I was ready to leave, it was not going to start. Check the fuel pressure, yep zero pressure causes no joy. Have it towed home R&R the fuel pump and varoom. On my way again. It was fortunate I had a second car to drive at the time.

At least it released its smoke at a time where you were able to deal with it.

The timing was definitely fortuitous. Another few seconds and the wiring harness would have been damaged....another few minutes and the truck would have been a shell.

Good to hear. I've got a disco loving mate that reckons that the connections on the blower are loose.

Evening Y'all
Well good riddance to a crap week, but it's friday, the boots are off, the feet are up and I am done, I might even decide to sleep right where I am at so I don't have to move no-mo.
Got all the tags and paperwork for the M yesterday to tomorrow I am going to terrorize the roads, I think I'll drive it to the bank and try and fit in the drive through
