The man that started this company loved his job. Heck, he was 90 and still coming to work and enjoyed it. He took early retirement at age 92. He sure did not need the money.

Sure we have some drudgery tasks but overall I enjoy coming to work. Look, almost time for my morning nap!

There is a reason I have not approved a migration to 365, which I think is how many days it takes to get functionality from the migration. Most days I do not enjoy my job but at least I get to make decisions that keep my job from getting worse.

I hear ya, but for the behotchin I do about my little company and wanker boss, I'd by lying if I didn't admit I've never been more comfortable and happy at a job since I left college.

Working for blood sucking corporations that viewed the hard working individual as a disposable liability... I always had a case of the Sunday night blues...

I have never ever done the big corporate work gig. I can't imagine a real job with many layers of management and the cost and tie world. Bleach.

I have not made as much money as I could have with a real job. But a lifetime of a career where work was something interesting and challenging sure sounds like a good choice for zero stress levels and happiness.

Yeah, Exchange online works fine if you can change your organization and functionality to fit Microsoft's model and don't ever have to troubleshoot anything. AND if you have to use a hybrid environment running both Office365 and you local server because you have hundreds of users to migrate, sharing inboxes and calendars between users and things like rooms and shared mailboxes don't work across both servers, oh boy what a great email environment.

Sounds about right, it was version 3.x. Novell was da bomb during the SCO/Linux thing a while ago.

Evening Y'all
Well I have finally have a co worker that is just as crazy as I am.
The boss has been a real prick for the last week and just badgering everybody for no reason but today he was put in his place. He yelled at my coworker about some grease on the floor (it's a shop and the kid is doing an engine) and he just would not let it go, and told the kid to clean it up right now. The kid calmly grabs a can of brake clean and sprays it all over the floor right up to the bosses feet then set it on fire, looked at the boss and said, clean, no more grease. The boss has scarce for the remainder of the day. I guess being set on fire puts things into perspective

Evening guys! Went out to show a house this morning that was listed as active and I had asked the realtor if it was good to show it. Come back to write a contract an hour later and its already under contract. Wtf? Call him and hes like oh ya, we just signed that offer. Could have told me you had one coming in dude! So I was about 2 hrs late on getting it sold! On to the next one!

I'm spending the morning hanging out at the hardware store. This should be an easy part of the retirement course.

I remember riding around with my granddad going from cafe to cafe in the small town. He would get a cup of coffee, drink it, then on to the next one, chatting with the other older gentlemen hangin out at each. He passed when I was 5.

The really important part was he taught me to politely ask for a straw, tear the paper cover off one end, then try to shoot the paper cover and hit the waitress in the butt.

My favorite picture of me and granddad was us standing together each holding our fishing poles and a crappie we each had caught. Mine was my first, and his was his biggest. I was 3. My fishing pole was a 3 ft length of 1by with about 5 ft of line tied to it.
