Allways thought Bose 201s would make great rear surround speakers.

Morning all.

Noah, on two different trips through St Louis a 18 wheeler did sort of the same thing to me. They just came on over and my choice was be dead right or yield. Since I am still here you can tell I decided to get out of the way. The first time it happened I was forced into a on ramp to a different bridge and I had to go across the river and go a while before there was a turn around. I had no idea where I was. That was in 2005 and that GPS updated at the speed of glaciers.

Stuff like that happens because people are generally idiots behind the wheel.

I had a d-bag try the move on me when I was in a work truck(26ft straight box.) He tried to stuff is Lexus(I think) into my front right wheel. We were merging into a construction one so we were barely moving. Luckily, our trucks had mirrors on the front fenders so I could see this clown. I guess he thought he would just move it out of his way. No uh-uh.

Yeah, I should have probably conceded the position but oh well.

Oh boy that was fun. just got off the phone with an angry client who is pissed that he bought a ton of 3/4" threaded rod anchors per our drawing only to have bolts show up with the specified plates for holding a rail system down. Now he has twice the bolts. To bad the drawings plainly say "bolts supplies by manufacturer, install per their instructions". We show them on our drawings for placement only. Learn to read is what I wanted to tell him.

Most of our Exchange users were sent an email describing how to change their password, then when their email stops working on their phone and how to update their phone to see the office365 servers and use their new login. And that it will take anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours for their mail to migrate and they will need to enter new information.

About 25% of users turn in a help ticket saying they followed the instructions and change their password and it worked fine for a while, and that now their phone does not get email.

The same issue with people using web mail. All is fine when they change their password, but when the current web mail quits working they don't go to the new web address, and when they do, they try to use their old login. The instructions tell them exactly what is going to happen and what to do about it.

Argh. I don't know what's worse. The people that don't read the instructions, or the idiot in charge that is having everyone change their login and password ALONG WITH THE MIGRATION.

Don't worry, you'll be even more annoyed come the end of it, when all the execs pat him on the back for doing such a fine job with the seamless migration.

Meanwhile, you'll be still fixing 5hit.

ahh just go in touch with my inner evil self. Yesterday I left early to take a kid to the doc. Boss is a way for a week so the new guy attempted to give me grief about leaving early cause the boss was gone. Well he is late this morning so I changed his network password to "im-a-mouthy-little-B**C*" and left him a post it note.

BOFH?

By the way, reading comprehension has gone the way of common sense.

Right turns are OK, left turns should be made gently.
