Oh great, Cox Business just sent me an email that I have the FakeSecSen or Spy Sheriff virus. Looked it up and it is a virus that modifies the windows registry, ie not Mac compatible. I only have Macs. If you don't remove the virus traffic they will block your internet.

Call the number an tell BOFH all I have is Macs on my network and the virus they are warning me about is a windows only virus. The BOFH tells me I should scan my computer with one of their free tools anyway to be safe. Ask which of their tools should I use to scan my Mac. Answer, none.

Finally tells me they use a third party service for virus notification and he will record this as a false notification.

Have gotten these warnings before for our company cox business fiber connection and found users were disabling anti-virus software on their pc laptops and bringing viruses to the network from home. They turned it off because it kept interrupting them telling them they had a virus! Now nobody has admin access to their computers so they can't turn that stuff off. We also have anti-virus running on our internet router.

Evening Y'all,
David, your password thing, I approve.
On the way home tonight the boxster started making that really bad noise cars make when a drive accessory or pulley is chitting the bed, yup, got home ripped the scatter shield out and found I was about to lose the tensioner pulley, yeah I have one of those on the shelf, so this should be easy, 90 degrees outside, lord knows how hot the temp was from that engine bay, I was sweating like a hooker in church, but she lives to terrorize tomorrow.
I hate cars

Couldn't help myself, had to fire up the grill for a burger despite the rain coming in. It was barely sprinkling. Turned the knob on the first burner and it fires right up. Turn the knob on the second burner...as I start to turn the knob there is a bright flash, get to the position to fire the igniter and BOOM!! Thought my grill had blown up. Man that was close!!! Flashed and sounded like it hit in my back yard. No evidence though.

The burger was GREAT! Next time I may put something on it besides just meat cheese and bun.

I dated a girl many eons ago that had wicked big hair (Beth called her the line backer because she had swimmers shoulders) and she had the grill do that flash start. She didn't have big hair after that.
I thought it was funny as hell. We broke up soon after that

Something is weird with Tapatalk. It does not like Pelican. I get an error that says it is a pirate version. It is the same legal version I have used for years. It works fine on Garage Jornnal just not Pelican. I had to go back to Safari to post this.

Morning Y'all,
For the last several nights I have woken up at 2:28, WTF. No dreams, not an issue with a cat, just woke up.
I googled 2:28 am but got nothing. Maybe it is the ghost that lives in my house jacking with me

Happy Hump Day!

It got pretty chilly here last night. It was only 34 at 6:30. It's not cold enough to use the heat and not warm enough to need the a/c.

No work today as I finished the decks yesterday. Gonna cut the grass and wash the truck and 911 and then off to my volunteer spot with the 5th graders.

We had a dirtbag arrested for waterboarding a 5 year old here this week. He also threatened the 12 year old brother with a knife for going outside without permission.

The mother of the kids was thrown in jail too charged with child abuse. They lived just a in the next block on our street. Chances are the older one goes to school with my kids.

The dirtbag worked at my wife's plant, too.

Good Morning everyone.

It has been a strange spring here. We are on track to have the wettest year ever. Right now we are way above average and all the local lakes are full and the ones that were critical low are filling up fast. Some lakes are flooding and the dummies that built a lake house close to the shore line are flooded.
