Good to be back in our own bed tonight. The tent is nice but the crappy mattress I used was well, crap.

Lots of boating and fishing on the lake, though. We kept a total of 98 fish that we caught. I don't even know ow many we threw back for being too small.

Rock bass, perch, and sunfish. Gonna have a fish fry at the in-laws house another day.

I missed having the 911. In past years, my wife and I would leave the kids with the Grandparents and drive the roads along the Lake Huron shore. Some of the back roads are as good as anywhere else with less traffic to boot.

Don't know if the cameras he is using have night vision or not. I would assume so since it is for security.

Well, Summer is over in just under two hours. I am ready for fall but not winter.

My lawn IS starting to lose it's greenness.

Mine's getting greener. I've had to mow the last two weekends. It's nearing time to weed with roundup.

¡Buenos días, y'all! Another fascinating day at the office, then back to the condo for some deeply fulfilling touch-up painting. My days are so fun-packed, I can't stand it. Really, I can't.

No doubt for me, I would rather be at work than paint.

This is the last week before school starts and we are going to have some of the hottest days of the summer.

We are supposed to be sunny and in the 90's all week. That'll teach those kids to play outside.
