so far I have not had enough peace to take a nap. The boss must have read the vacation calendar.

Must expect you to take a dip in L. Superior if you want to get clean.

Hey Brent, maybe you can swing by Lambeau Field on your way back home. Check out training camp.

At lunch time I drove down to the household hazardous waste drop off facility that Oklahoma City operates. I donated tow gallons of antifreeze and some brake fluid. It is nice that they accept the stuff that builds up at home. They take old florescent bulbs, batteries, paint, automotive waste like what I had and lots more stuff.

I just show them my water bill and they are happy to take it all.

They don't accept nuclear waste or old tires so I just stack that stuff in the back yard.

Gots me some o' that hazardous junk. At my old house I could just leave an old battery in front of my garage door. After a couple of days it would just disappear. Must have been some kind of portal to another dimension cause it don't happen at this house.

Sometimes I feel the bathroom is a hazardous waste disposal location or at least it smells that way.

Anything of possible use or value we put in front of our office and it gets picked up quickly. I figure it get recycled into a useful item for someone. Way better than going to the landfill. Way WAY WAY better than having a garage sale. I have not had a garage sale since 1991. I plan to wait another 50 or 60 years before I have the next one.

Funny we don't like garage sales either. To much work for so little gain. Half the time you still have to run the stuff to good will.

90% of what goes out into the garage for a sale absolutely does not come back into the house. It either is sold or donated to goodwill. I don't have a garage sale to make money, I have one to get rid of un-used stuff.....So much better when the sale is my inlaws house.

When we had the estate sale at my parents place literally everything there was for sale. If it did not sell it was donated to goodwill. We worked our asses off for a 3 day sale. It did make enough to be worth while but just barley. I am real glad I will not have to do that again. My MIL lives in Enid and her son, two grandsons, and 5 great grandsons live close by. I will "let" them handle it what the time comes. She does not have very much junk at all.

Still trying to decide what to do with Mom's stuff. Sister said she would come visit and help if I wanted to do the garage sale thing.

Whooo Wheeee.

I just got a call from some lady and I won a free night at Branson, MO and two show tickets. I told her I honestly would rather work all weekend rather than go to Branson. And that is the truth.

Now if they could get all the other traffic off of the Arkansas and Missouri roads and promise no speeding tickets no mater what I might rethink it.

and another incredibly shiny vehicle leaves my house.

It was nice to visit with my seester whilst working on the car. She plans on trading it in on something new in the next month or so. It's a very nice 2013 ferd Taurus in Root Beer Brown. I told her she should get a root beer scented air freshener and tell people it's the paint that smells so good.

No doubt. But there is nothing at all in Branson, MO that interests me.
