I can't wait for the end of September, too. Then, i'll be a couple of days away from my next SoCal work-cation.

Me either! AX and a big track day! Might even have my own grid girls at the AX. If that don't make you shoot for 1st...

Careful with the grid girls and trying to get fastest time. At one of our AX the time keeper was a wife. A guy showed up with a 914. His wife was his grid gril...holding an umbrella over him on the grid, etc. Made the timer chick mad so she added a 1 second penalty to his times. Be cause of it I beat him by .006 seconds. I was in my BMW X3 SUV! He got so upset and pissed that an SUV beat his 914 that everyone was affraid to tell him about the grid girl penalty second.

The truely amazing thing was that I got 2nd fastest time in my BMW X3 SUV.

Friend called and his New Boxster GTS came in. Said it's got 10 miles on it now.

I'd have to find ten or eleven seconds to be first in class. I'm just hoping for third or fourth ( or whatever numbers) next month.

This month was the first AX in over a year. I'm rusty, the others are not. Although I did knock off thirteen seconds from my first practice run to my best timed run.

Oh great, my iPhone won't plug in to charge and can't get it fixed until Wedness day. My battery ain't gonna last that long. I'm sure this happened just because I turned off my home phone line Friday!

My Chiropractor has a huge salt water aquarium in his waiting room. For about a year it had this one fish that would play peek-a-boo with me. When I walked in it would dart all around the tank to get my attention then when I would go over to the aquarium it would dive into the coral so you couldn't see it. After I sat down it would slowly peek out of the coral until I looked it's direction then it would dive back into the coral. I would move around to different chairs and it would peek out of different places in the coral. The longer I would go without looking at it, the farther out of the coral it would peek. Then when I would turn my head to look in it's direction, it would dive back into the coral.

Good Morning folks. I was just going through my spam email. F**king spammers. The funniest one is a dire warning that someone has been researching my criminal background. I bet it didn't take em long to read the file. I got a speeding ticket when I was 19 or 20. It was so long ago I don't remember for sure. I have never had handcuffs on me. Never been arrested. I had a parking ticket about 15 years ago or so but I paid that dollar on that day to get the discount.

We had a phone call here at work the other day and is was from some POS that claimed to be with the OSBI (Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation) and they wanted me to run down to Walgreen's and get a gift card and then read them the number or they would come arrest me. I explained with a string of profanity to come and get me and bring a big swat team.

The stupid thing is the OSBI headquarters is across a back fence from my office. I could be faster on foot that driving a car.

I hate spam.

I finally got a solid confirmation on what my "ping" noise in my SC is...

Clapped out cylinder 2, leak down is at 85% on exhaust side...time to make the monies to save the monies to build/buy a fun motor

Shouldn't you just do a 3.6L upgrade?

Well while you are in there........

One of the most expensive phrases ever.

Now is the time to start the list. ARP or similar rod bolts and case bolts. 964 cams the list goes on.

Frankly, it is on the list of possibilities.

I'm likely going to do a swap and not a rebuild. Can get a lot more "engine" for less or about the same price as a rebuild.

Currently considering twin-plugged/PMO'd 3.0, a stock but newly rebuilt 3.2, and a hot-rodded 3.0 with EFI

Not sure why anyone would want to do that, but hey, to each their own.
