Okay...so I talked to the mechanic working on the GTS. He is ordering new injectors Monday. Says he is going to put a new front transmission seal (drips) while waiting for injectors. As soon as injectors are in he can put motor back in the car. Once in will make custom x-pipe to go between new headers and current exhaust.
Anybody got any guesses when it will actually be done? Also see Porsche has now got an new 1 DIN replacement car stereo for classics. Has Bluetooth and NAV.

I tried shoving a wiener in the warp drive, but it didn't do a bit of good.
By the by, have you a wee bit of mustard?

crotch crock, same difference.
It was frikkin' awesome! I cooked it all day on low and then used the oven on 450 for the last 10 minutes. Baked potatoes with sauteed green beans and a Stella Artois to wash it down.

I'm gonna have a protein shake for dinner.....
Gotta get a physical and pee in a cup so I can send some paperwork off to the Coast Guard, but other than that I'm just counting days. |

Maybe he couldn't find a crotch pot to marinate his pork steak in all day.

Morning all. We are watching the F1 race. I am guessing Nico will win 7 in a row. The race has not started yet.

Happy Sunday folks!
Wife is working, daughter stayed at a friend's last night so it's just the boy and me for a few hours. We started a paper mache volcano last night. He's been studying Mt. Vesuvius in school and wants to recreate the eruption. That shouldn't make a mess at all. The pork steak was so good I had the leftovers for breakfast.

Sounds like your crotch pot pork might make a good breakfast omelet with some red onions and cheddar. I like making an omelet out of nice juicy pulled pork, some white cheese like mozzarella or provolone, and picante sauce.
Just got back from running weekly grocery errands...Man I didn't realize how hazy and depressing my eyes made it look even when it was a nice sunny day. Even with my left eye still blurry it is much brighter and clearer than I've seen it in a long time. Was getting a bit depressed slowly going blind over four years even though I was getting treatments. Sure happy they were able to give me my vision back! Just can't be out in the sun longer than 15-20 minutes before that left eye starts aching.

In scouts we used to make peach cobbler with bisquick and peach pie filling in a dutch oven on our camp outs. At the summer camp we went to we had to cook our own food but they brought by fresh ingredients every meal. We always opted for the ice cream including freezer and ice to go with the cobbler we brought our own stuff for. It was amazing how cool we were able to keep leftovers and stuff with our evaporative fridge. Especially when we could put a little ice in the top every few days.
Our scoutmaster was a resourceful old fart. We always took his full size Dodge extended van on our camping trips. He welded another rim to the outside of each of the back wheels. When we got it stuck we could hook a rope on welded on rim and use it like a winch. We quit going to summer camp and instead went to different national forests. The official scout camps got real uncomfortable when one of our troop members had an epileptic fit. Even though we were well trained and perfectly able to take care of him, the council asked us not to bring our handicapped members to summer camp. That was about half of our troop. Providing a handicapped friendly scout troop was what we did. In fact, we got the requirements for some of the badges changed to make it easier for the handicapped to get them (without compromising the training and accomplishments the badges represented). We even took a guy in a wheel chair on a 50 mile hike. You've never seen someone so proud of a patch. His bigger brothers played football for OU at the time and it was something they didn't have.
