We want to see pictures of either Mack 2.0 or the drums, or both...or maybe even Mack 2.0 playing the drums.

Wow, seems like is a long time to put him to rest. Or maybe it's just that my family gets it over with as quick as possible. Most of my relatives I don't even hear about until after everything is over and done with.

I was actually kidding about the drums. and yeah, he better NOT chew on my drums.

My thoughts were to wait on getting another dog for a while. My son was devastated by the passing of Mack. To the point of talking about suicide so he could be with him.

I love my wife and know her well enough that it was basically no use in putting up a fight.

I took the kids to the HS and my daughter pointed to the new guy right off the bat, without me telling her that he was ours.

We named him Hank and he's already fixed, like me , and we got a bunch of toys and treats from the folks there.

He's sleeping on my shoes right now but I'll post a pic later.

Good Boy! Hank is a big tough name for such a cute puppy.

Sounds like he's already your dog. Specially since you will be home all day with him.

Getting another puppy without waiting was a really good thing for Mom.

Just remember, they can speak very close to english. They just can't use their lips. My Mom's speech therapist said it was most like Astro on the Jetsons.
They will try to imitate you. You just have to listen and reward for it.

Camber started by barking because she didn't want to rollover. She started saying "Roll over" instead of doing it. So I used that to help train her to talk and used "Can you roll over" for her to actually roll over.

Got Pepper started speaking to get treats. Then started saying "Speak Hello." At first I rewarded anything that wasn't just a bark. Then strarted rewarding the closer it was to "Hello." She got pretty good at it. She gets so excited around new people it's difficult to get her to do anything. Still working on that.

My nephew is now even saying his pit bull is asking for things in english, before I got them listening they just discounted it as whining and barking.
And he used to say my dogs were just giving conditioned responses and wasn't really learning what she was asking for.

Morning.

Hank barked for about 30 minutes last night and then slept all night. I have to make popcorn at school this morning so he will stay in his crate during that time. My wife was kind enough to have him wake me this morning with doggy kisses. yay

To see my wife and kids happy is enough for me that it was the right decision.

Have a great Friday guys!

Few things better than puppy kisses and the smell puppy breath.

Good Friday morning everyone.

We did our bi-annual cleaning of the place yesterday. Not twice an year every two years. We killed off the pet spider nest, swept up a few pounds of dead bugs and dust. It looks a lot different. We have called the place monster garage and it still fits. Junk from the 1950s to the 2000s that is still valuable. We dug though several piles of old hard drives. Some were likely fine but a 4 gig hard drive just does not have much use anymore even if it does work. I can remember when I got my first one gig drive for my home computer I named the drive Big drive.

I had three other drives in that system and the other drives were just a few hundred meg each. Now a one TB drive seems small.

I just dug through more old hard drives. I found a 40 gig drive. That is borderline keeper size. We usually send out customer projects on thumb drives anymore. 16 Gig drive are cheap as a few of bucks. Smaller projects that are just a few gig can go on a DVD.

Most customers would be not pleased to receive a bare hard drive with their project on it. Some of them are computer geeks and have a reader like we do. I can just plug a bare drive into the unit and it is a USB connection to the computer.

Well 2TB on your phone makes perfect sense to me, IF if you did a video and photo diary set to music of every minute of your life using your phone.
