No dragons here either.

Although, when our kids were young'uns I had them convinced that their mother was a witch and would turn into a dragon at midnight on a full moon. Even went and bought a crystal ball, hid it away in a 'secret spot', then showed the kids where it was 'hidden'. The looks on their faces was priceless.

Thought one of my relatives was a witch. She was not an attractive old lady and had a hooked nose and very black hair that stuck out curly that made her look like a witch. She was missing some teeth and her voice sounded raspy too. Called her Aunt Mable and she had these huge talking parrots she kept in cages that took up the entire back porch. There were stairs only a foot wide that went up a wall in their living room that lead to a small door at the ceiling. They always had potted plants on the stairs. They owned and ran the small town's liquor store. Her husband and both son's each died in accidents at home by themselves cleaning their guns and on Sunday's.

Morning all. The sun is out and it is going to be well above freezing so the remaining snow on the driveway should go away.

Happy Saturday folks!

Colder than crap here today. Wife is down with the flu that my daughter had yesterday, apparently.

I'm going to take a look at the brakes on the truck. The ABS has been kicking in when applying the brakes at random times but it isn't because of tire slippage like on ice.

Also found a piece of something on the garage floor yesterday but can't figure out where it came from. It's cast and definitely broke off. I checked my drum kit but didn't see anything. Weird.

Enjoy the day!

The weatherman said we tied a record cold temp last night. -3 degrees. It did warm up to 36 today so lots of melting. Mid 60s for the upcoming week.

Sharyn got on board with the gag, told the kids if they did anything bad she would know by looking into her crystal ball. Hahaha

Great way to keep them in tow. (and a little frightened)

Cooking kangaroo steaks tonight.

All but the lime sound good. Sugar overload!

Well, I didn't find anything broken on the truck and the brakes looked ok. I still don't know where the piece came from.

Daughter has an earache now. She called from her friend's house at 5 am to come home. Hmmm, maybe if she listened to me about wearing a hat outside.....

Morning all. Mrs Carrera decided we needed to go to the grocery store yesterday afternoon. It was strange to see so many empty spots on the shelves. I guess a lot of folks hit the place like locust when the snow started. It is funny how many people run to the store to get the three whites. Bread, milk and toilet paper. We did not need any of those things.

They were also out of Chicken Broth.

Thought maybe someone had made my poor man's tortilla soup recipe popular. Can of Chicken Broth and 3 cups of Baked Cheetos, season to taste with hot sauce of choice.

Ok, computer dudes.

I have a "GearPro" camera which requires a class 1 MicroSD card. We tried the one from my phone but am getting an error when I try to upload a video to my laptop. The instructions don't help at all.

My phone card doesn't indicate what class it is.

Should I just go buy the correct card tomorrow? My wife is till sick so she isn't much help. Tanks.

I've always just downloaded directly from the camera. Usually charged it as well, bonus.
The only compatibility you would have to worry about is with the GearPro.
Does it format and show as available to record movies to?

My Panasonic Travel Zoom has to have a super fast 80mb/second card to record a special compressed movie format.
Got it because the 20x zoom worked while recording video. Current model is 30x and 18 megapixel.
Pretty cool for a still camera.

Thanks Richard. I read up on the SD cards this afternoon. It needs the super speedy one to work. I'll pick one up tomorrow.

It records just fine but won't upload. My Kodak works great but for making drum videos but I want to try a different camera. The sound is supposed to be more compressed. If the camera is too close to the drums the sound is distorted.

Mine is supposed to record stereo, not sure how effective it is with the mics only 1" apart.

Good Monday morning all.

The crap has melted and now they are predicting some 70s maybe 76 degree weather. I can adapt to that.

I was sick once before. I did not like it. I refuse to do that again and it is against my religion to be sick.
