morning all.
Yeah we have a sat dish and I took me forever to find the F1 listings to set it to record. Imagine my surprise when I turned on the practice session to find half of it was talking heads for baseball and other sports. Not cool guys.

Morning...
Monday. Whether it is good or not is your own responsibility. Just don't let the stupid get to you, AND don't let any of it rub off either. Remember, just because you don't say anything or make a comment, does not mean you are stupid too.

It is a plan but it involves yard work.

My Grandmother always said she wanted to pave her yard, but then would have to worry about the weeds coming up through it.

It will be interesting to see how ESP adjusts to the backlash of the F1 fans in the states. They did such a horrible job of the broadcast. And why on earth do they show talking heads about a game from 20 years ago that is a re-run and not show any of the post race interviews and discussions.

Me too. I honestly can't even understand why anyone would want to watch a TV show with talking heads talk about a GAME other people played 20 years ago. Of course, ESPN would air lot of coverage of people sitting down and playing poker. So watching people play cards, wow, maybe they can air the drying paint competition or the grass growing competition.

I liked the pre-race on-the-grid or whatever it was called. That high pointed the qualifying, showed the track layout, etc.

I haven't watched anything F1 related since the days of Ayrton and Nigel.

Oh, and Saturday morning was spent shoveling slush f my sisters deck. We were visiting and thought we should help. They got about 10-12 inches of heavy stuff. One of their pine trees was bent horizontally it was so heavy.

Our house had none so I didn't have to clear anything when we got home.
Looking for a small 250/350cc dual sport for the daughter.

Experienced a skiff of rain earlier this evening. Just enough to make the Turbo (parked in the driveway) a looka like it need a warsh.
Welp, left rear tire on the GTS os toast or whatever designation you give a tire that is non-functional. Thought my air pump just didn't blow good enough. But Noooo, that 1/4 mile limping slowly home with a flat tire shredded in inside sidewall. A can of goop ain't gonna fix that. Found a 3 inch nail thru the tread. Funny thing is, until the side wall got ripped up it didn't look or feel low. It needs tire pressure monitors. Think that nail pokey hole woulda been fixable. Had our insurance wellness exam this evening. Must be livin right after that stroke. Blood pressure was 110/70. Blood sugar was 90. A1C was 5.7. Bad coloesterol was below half, good colestrol as just above the low. Triglicerides were just right. Probably means I'm gonna croak soon.

I've taken this week off work and the SIL (the qualified sparky) is giving me a hand to install some new Mitsubishi splits.
![]() ![]() ![]() I'ma little knackered - too long driving a desk and not so much on the tools any more.

At least you will be cool this summer, but it is fall now. Do they heat as well?

Funny thing is I can find 600/650cc bikes all day at reasonable prices, but those are a bit big for her. I know, she tried mine. The 350 bikes are older but I like them better for the street.

Yep, reverse cycle. They are more efficient in heat mode and it should knock some off the gas (bottled lpg) bill.
