Well, it;s morning. Whether it is good or not to each his own. Hope it is good.

As far as the WWII history goes, hope it is not nearly as agend biased as today's reporting.

Good Mon... Nope Tuesday morning.

Our vermin early alert system went into full red alert yesterday. Reuben was circling the storage building, and in full hunt mode in the Koi pond garden area. So I set 5 traps. So far I have disposed of 3 mice. Since today is trash day and the big roll around can is on the curb, I just dropped them into the trash can. I will have to drop any further vermin on the compost pile and let the worms eat them. I am very strong prejudices against mice or any rodent trying to make their home in my house or property.

We did invite in some Blue Birds, and put up a Bluebird house. Birds and butterflies, and even toads are welcome. Mice are something I am going medieval on their ass.

Nether of my car radios do bluetooth, or usb for that matter. Just don't answer calls, texts, or emails while driving. If expecting something important, pull over and return the communication. Nobody seems to mind.

It is very annoying when riding with my brother and he answers texts and calls while driving. He does do it hands free thru the stereo, but it is still annoying. Espeically if we were talking.

I never text while driving. The RDX has a built-in hands free unit but must be old enough that it no longer plays with the current Bluetooth software.

Am sure you attempted to pair it.

Brother uses Siri to read and answer texts and emails while driving.

Happy Monday not on a Monday.

TH epower door lock on the Durango passenger rear door stopped working. It is all integrated with the latch so $80. At least it is easy to replace. I had the old one out and messed with to check it out and back in within 1/2 an hour. Might as well replace the speakers while I am in there when the new part comes. The foam is gone on all the speakers which is a shame since they were good sounding speakers for OEM. They are only 19 years old. The speakers in the Cobra were put in way back in 1995 and they have no paper or foam, but they have lived a hard life. I am not sure if it is worth putting a radio back in. Maybe since I will have the dash out to put the new gauges in I will drop the radio that is sitting in the basement in.

I have Bluetooth and USB in both of my cars. 50 to 60 bucks for the stereos. They even have AM-FM but I never even tune them to stations.

And I will dictate a short message to Siri, and have her read them at stop lights. Very few of those.

Would put something nice it the Cayenne, but it has that stupid MOST bus thing. Would have to replace just about everything and get magic boxes to talk to the sterring wheel and dash, and use the antenna from what I've read in the Cayenne forums.

Put a nice unit in the range rover. It did hands free over bluetooth and everything. But it did sound good playing music over bluetooth from my phone. Did freak me out a couple of times when it switched a call over to handsfree when I started the rover.

Our Avenger has factory BT and it works awesome and it will read texts to me if I receive one and I can send one as well. It has USB, but I have a flash drive with all out favorite music on it connected to that. The Rogue has factory BT and it has to be the worse implementation ever. The Durango has no BT. The Cobra has no audio at the moment (other than the glorious high strung V8 through stepped headers through a 4 into 1 collector then through 4" exhaust), but BT would be OK if I had any music on my phone which I don't. Don't stream it either.

I have 16 gig of music on my phone, but rarely listen to it. Apple uses iTunes to manage music. The very number one worst software ever written for any computer ever. I fought with it for over a day trying to get it to play the entire library of my music, in random order. I gave up. I just plug in the 16 gig thumb drive into my car stereo and tell them to play in random order, no problem. About three button pushes for two different stereo head units. Apple can’t do that. I have Pandora on my phone that I use when mowing the yard. That works great.
I play it right to my noise canceling Bluetooth headphones.

iTunes started out as the worst crap ever and went downhill from there.

Yep, they have to work hard to make it difficult to do things in a logical manner. It has to be that way by design.

Dang it. The other admin at work is an idiot.
Even though I have told him not to do it, he goes in a blocks terminated users in 365.
It keeps me from archviing their emails, and the CRM admins from moving their stuff to other users, as well as keeping their phones from wiping their email accounts from their phone.
Arggggg.
Was downloading a 10GB email file while at lunch. and he redid the block, stalling the download at 1 GB/

Buenos tardes, y’all. I just dropped off the seats & door cards at the auto upholster. They should be done in a few weeks, and my new dash pad should be here a couple of weeks afterwards. Maybe, just maybe, my 280Z will be back on the road sometime in July.

I always wondered how one of them engines would respond to about 7 or 8 psi of boost.

Found one on BAT:

Quote:
The gold-painted 1978 L28 inline-six and five-speed manual gearbox were taken from the late owner’s previous 280Z. The engine was rebuilt by Troy McLawhorn and utilizes a period Cartech turbocharger setup which has been restored and upgraded. In its current state of tune, running between 11-12 pounds of boost the engine reportedly produced 291 hp and 383 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels.
it's got a lot of ricky-racer stuff on it, I'd prolly get rid of half of it and tune it down to about 225 reliable hp and have a ball with it.
