Go back to the beginning, post number one. Stijn is member of Pelican. He posts occasionally, but has pretty much abandoned us in this thread.

Just read all 152,230 posts and you will be enlightened and all knowing like the rest of regulars here.

Yep, interesting characters come and go. I have read every single post but I read them as they were current.

I sure miss Rick. He was so funny.

At least now we can use the word snow openly and freely.

I still miss him.

No, I just hate snow. Or any type of frozen precipitation be it sleet or hail or ice or whatever.

Rick could not bring himself to type the work snow and did not even want to see the word.

I like snow, I just wish it knew enough not to fall on driveways and roads.

Brent, thought you had an SUV?

Liked snow a lot more when I had this...

Actually kinda looked forward to it!

They pushed the snow in parking lots up into big piles. Just loved climbing over them big piles!

We have a 2000 Durango with 196k miles on it and it is 2wd but it does have Blizzaks on it and does well until the snow gets to 8" deep or so. I used to have a Ramcharger setup similar to your GMC.

It is the clearing the drive I dislike the most, and the fact they don't always like to clear our road which with thaw and refreeze which then becomes slick. It would be better if they left it snow some days.

Haven't had much snow since started driving Cayennes, but when I had the Rover just drove back and forth in an out of the drive until it was all packed, then kinda just forgot about it. When was driving 951 the 928GT then Boxster, then 952 I shoveled. Looked at it like it was good exercise since there was no lawn to mow. One snow in the 928GTS and I got the cheap Rover for snow days.

First I tried a cheap Trooper and found the heater didn't work too well. Then got the Rover and added not only a poor heater, but sucky A/C as well. That's what pushed me to the older Cayennes.

Richard, you driveway faces west, and gets sun all afternoon. Our driveway faces the north, and it is sloped away from the sun angle as well. The folks on the other side of the street never shovel their driveway and the sun clears it fast. I can shovel off a lot and still have ice and packed snow for a long time.

And my driveway is enormous. I can park 4 vehicles on the ramp area, and 6 on the parking area, and still have my three cars in the garage.

Some times it still don't melt. Especially if I go ahead and drive on it packing the snow.

Afternoon all. Rick has dumped almost everyone who didn't lean to his political views. He is mostly gone from Facebook as well. I sent a few texts and go no response.

Oh man, the Social Security department just called my land line and said they had suspended the SS number. They did not mention if it was mine or my wife's. I though about picking up the call and screwing with the low life mother **cker. My business partner loves to screw with them when they call. He just asks what is their favorite, a goat or a donkey for screwing. And it get MUCH worse from there.

I will just delete the call.

They had some lady on the national news that looked like a average American. She was stupid enough to listen to them. She did as instructed and transferred her bank account to some off shore bank account "to keep it safe" and lost over 150K of course. It is idiots like her that keep the scammers going.
