Wow, it is 66 degrees and partly sunny. A lot of big puffy clouds and not tons of sun. The weather for the weekend looks like crap of course.

It's 4:50am and 33C (91F)

I'm up early to continue cleaning the roof ready for the painters to come next week and do their thing.

Yesterday got real hot up there very quickly that I called it quits after a few hours.

I need a colony of those beetles. Our dogs only use two spots. The front yard and the back yard.

Might get 8" of the white stuff by Saturday night. I blame David. Mostly because it comes from that direction and I am far enough away he can't hit me very hard.

Pepper always uses the same 15 sqft area in the back yard north of the house. Back yard is on the east and north sides of the house because it's a corner lot. Have not seen any dung beetles, but there are nematodes.

Tried to teach indoor cat to use the toilet. It was doing great until Mom put the trainer thing on top of the seat instead of under it. Cat jumped up, knocked off the trainer, scatter litter everywhere, and fell in the toilet. Cat must have been traumatized because it quit using all littler boxes. Ended up getting rid of that cat!

Just had a thought...If Pepper was leaving a lot and stinking up the yard, would probably call her Pooper not Pepper.

It is a 62 degree morning. That is about to change because of the nasty stuff David is sending east. It is dipping down low and getting us this time. The forecast is for that snow crap and winter mix late tonight and tomorrow morning. So much for going to the PCA breakfast. If it were a truly important thing, I for sure could get there, but it ain't worth exposing my car to salt and that much filth. The 911 was not an option with summer performance tires on it. The Elky could make it just fine. The Macan would be a breeze to get there with the all wheel drive, and a snow button pushed and M&S tires. That ain't gonna get all dirty and exposed to salt either.

I finally have the big ol RAID5 box finished. Ready to take over to my business partner's house. When I was first setting things up I used the same old wireless keyboard and mouse on it that I had been using for years with that computer. They are a better feeling keyboard and mouse pair than the keyboard and mouse I used on my old i5 computer. I finally put the RAID on the floor in the corner of my office to get it out of the way. So I figured, I would go back to my favorite keyboard and mouse on my new computer. I have few of the Logitech unifying USB pug in thingies. It was a pain to figure out just what one was the right one for the keyboard. The mouse uses Bluetooth or the unifying adapter. I had to dig out my old cheap USB mouse to unplug the devices, and one at a time figure out the right combination of what what to what.

No I need to fire up the old i5 and make sure it is happy and alive. It does not get much use, but it has some old software packages that would be silly expensive to update for as little as we use them.

I prefer to blame California for the wet white stuff. If they would just keep that tropical moisture down there where they need it and no not send it North to meet up with our cold air I would not have to send it East. I was taught to share...…..

We may well have thunder-snow. The temp is 68 and the humidity is 84% and in the spring that is the fuel for tornadoes. We are actually under a Tornado watch right now, just meaning the conditions are ripe for the spinning air. Snow just adds to the fun. If this were March or April we would be on high alert.

Blame me. I don’t want that stuff here, so I export it to the East. I forgot to export the cold air this time. 40s to 50s today. Sheesh!

We are up to 69 degrees right now. The humidity is down to 79%. And they are still forecasting snow this evening.

--------

Weirder and weirder. It is up to 71 degrees at 1:30 PM, and they are promising snow today.

Logitech has an app to make that a lot easier. Plug one in and sync the device to it and done.

5-8 inches predicted for here. Hush Jeff, I know what you are thinking.

Why does Microsoft think Edge needs to be the default for everything? You can't fill out a fillable PDF with it and it sucks at everything else. If I am upgrading form 7 to 10, keep my settings. Thank goodness for group policy object so I can kick it to the curb. Lets put fuel injection on the engine. OK, but you can only listen to Kanye West sing children rap now on the radio. At least it doesn't install iTunes.

The front has finally arrived, but the precipitation in any form has not. It has dropped to 55 degrees and the humidity is still very high. Just weird weather.

The weather channel app says we are getting rain and ice, but the camera tells me different. Must be a bad camera.

It's almost like winter arrived. But, no precipitation. Hoping to get the Cayenne back from the stereo fixer before the weather gets precipitous.

The installer has talked me into installing aftermarket amps with the factory speakers instead of replacing the missing factory amp and trying to interface the head unit with that Most bus stuff. Too bad it is too old to have smart phone integration with the factory head unit part. Said he would replace the speakers for better sound but finding speaker to fit the factory speaker depth would be very expensive.

Rescued from being last thread on page 1, ha!

Yep, just a very light dusting. More than enough snow for me. I hope that is all that ever falls here for the rest of the decade. The cracks seams in the sidewalks and asphalt have a white tone. More than enough snow for us.

The forecast was for 3/4 of an inch of rain and 2-3 inches of snow. We ended up with .05 inches of rain, and a dusting of snow that is too light to measure.

Just enough rain to get the Elky dirty on our Friday night quest to hunt down some food. As a very accomplished hunter, we found a restaurant and managed to get some Tex-Mex style food. Another successful hunt! I am near 100% successful when hunting food.
