Ouch, ouch ouch.

I went to the dermatologist again today. I guess he got his liquid nitrogen on sale and was passing on the saving on with volume use on me. He always asks if I have any areas that concern me. The same spots of my nose and temples. This time I had a new spot on top of my head in the not quite bald spot. So I think he sprayed the entire contents of the gun on my head. Well, OK maybe I am exaggerating just a tiny bit, but dang. Ouch.

So now I get to look like a leper for a while. The price I pay for living in Hawaii as a kid.

I always wear a hat if I go outside for more than a few seconds. I usually were a visor type hat with the open top that mostly shades my face. I guess I will have to go to a full ball cap and ditch the visors. When I mow the yard or go to car shows or autocross or spend any time outside I wear a large floppy hat with a flap to cover the back of my next. It is not real pretty, but effective, and I don't care one tiny bit what anyone thinks of it. It protects my head and face.

I agree. I typically try and always wear a hat but they get in the way of the BAHA and are tuff to stay on in windy conditions.

I have several different styles. For outdoor work and shooting sports and such I have a Stetson floppy hat with bug repellent in it. Works good and the muffs fit over it. I have a straw hat for yard work when it is hot since it is cooler than the floppy hat. Lots of ball caps too. I have one from every national park we have visited, plus the car brands and what not.

My big floppy hat is designed to help keep me cool. It has ventilation and a very wide brim. It has a strap for my chin and it is needed for the windy days. When I was mowing the winds were stupid high. At one point it was to my back and it blew up and did the exact action I use to take my hat off. I had to grab my hat just milliseconds before it was blow off. The chin strap did not help for that.

Mine is ventilated and has the strap as well, but it isn't as cool as the straw cowboy style hat.

We could use some of that rain. It has been about three weeks since we got much rain. We are getting dry. We were up on the annual normal total, but likely below the average now. Likely it will be a monsoon on the day I am to go to the race track.

We just had a few inches fall the last two days. Need to mow again. Just mowed on Monday.

David, the need for waterproof hats must surely be an anomaly from the storm coming up the river valley!

I poured myself a glass of apple juice just now and drank it.
My 6 year-old commented, "You're chugging it!"
What kind of 6 year-old knows that term?!

oscapies were both normal. Disappointing part is post instructions said may have a little gas. No pasing gas with impunity as much as needed indefinately like Glen.

Mostly wear baseball caps with a 928 or Porsche crest, especially when in car with a head rest. If plan on being outside much have s pith helmet like in old movie safaris. It is real pith straw so offers lots of shade head, ears, neck, and breathability. Has an inner head band offset from the hat for air circulation, terry sweat band, chin strap for wind, and a Porsche badge sewn on the front. The sweat band snaps off for washing. For the hottest of days think about installing a small solar powered fan.

Got it when standing out in the sun a lot flying RC planes.

I am sure glad I am not a ditch digger or swinging a pickax or sledgehammer for a living. For many reasons but primary right now my hands hurt. They are sore from strenuous activity. of digging 4 inch holes in brick like soil. Lots of 4 inch holes. 4x4x4 sort of round holes. Lots of of em.

We called a skunk trapper and he set some traps on a burrow in the flower bed of the association's entrance wall. We need to go check the traps to see if the doors are down and if they are, call the guy to pick up the skunks.

He just euthanizes them. No one wants more skunks so there is nowhere to dump them that is not someones property.

We had a burrow next to the small wall in the driveway. The opening was about the size of a paint can. Not sure what made it, but we had some locking sand that is water activated that was still in the bag and had been left out in the rain. Dropped that in and the bag hasn't moved. Whatever wanted to live there must have gotten the hint.
