No planning at all. I set the auto-reply on my email to begin promptly at 4pm. I plan to be out the door at 4:01. Stand in my way and suffer..........

We are going through that right now. We flew a project a couple of months ago. We did precisely the area they specified in the area of interest file they provided, with a tiny bit of extra space outside that area. We have even been paid by the client. Now they call and ask if we have an area close by, but not inside the area of interest. We only do the area they specified and not random areas around the project just for fun. Now they are in a hurry, hair on fire, need it done now. We are really heartbroken, we have to go fly down there and fly the project all over again, and do it again, and invoice it again.

It is kinda like hiring someone to mow your yard and then wondering why the mowing crew did not mow the yard across the street while they were so close.

When in HS went to the State Fair. One of the exhibits was a computer company. They had a couple of computer typewriter terminals set up so that whatever was typed on either terminal showed on both terminal. This was back in the computer terminals were teletype type writers, no monitors. These terminals were at either end of the companies booth.

I started typing "Hello" after every time the other person typed. When they finally answered, I typed very generic questions about thei name, where they were from, and the fair. I included information from their previous answers to make it look like a programmed question. If they typed something that was not an answer or curse words I would type "I'm sorry, I don't understand, please try again." If they continued typing garbage I started over with "Hello." They were getting quite a crowd around them watching. They thought they were typing a conversation with a computer program. Seemed pretty futuristic back in 1976. Me and the group watching my computer's output could see I was asking the questions and thought it was pretty funny duping the other terminal user. Kinda the opposite of the Turning Test.

Good HUMP day morning all.

I will be off to go spend money with the CPA. Always a good time. Dang he is expensive. No major issues, just need ways to put some deposits into the right category to keep the crazy taxes in this country from getting totally out of hand. When I see the raw numbers, we spent this much money to get to capture the images, we spend this much time using crazy expensive software and hardware and stayed up late, worked on weekends, and we made this much profit, and oh by the way your partner Uncle Sam and his "Stately" cousin Okie have are gonna take a rather large percentage of your profit.

We have a departmental meeting every morning and a full meeting every other Friday and I have one with my boss on the other every other Friday.

Local body shop guy is trying to talk me out of wrapping the car. Says it will fade after a year and then not come off.

Guy wrapped a 928 and it looked good for about 5 years. Don't know about removing it.
Another guy is doing some kind of fancy ceramic coating on paint that lasts for 6, then you just refresh the coating.

Personally I like paint better.

I normally like paint better also. It is 10x the price in this case.

You can ceramic coat the vinyl as well and help it last longer.

If I got 5 years out if it I would be happy. Might be able to afford to paint it by then!

Met a guy that the paint on his Porsche looked horrible. It had been painted a flat black and was wearing off with undercoat showing in a lot of places. He said it was a special radar absorbing paint scheme.

Mine is flat black now. Can't say I care for it much.

Just tell everyone it's stealth paint like used on the B-1 and F-117.

If someone comments about it, tell them...
"It makes it show up the size of a bird on radar. Like this.." Then put your hand in your pocket and pull it out flipping them the bird.
ha ha ha, i crack me up.

ha ha ha, i crack me up.
Virtually all the stealth of those aircraft are the shape, not the paint.

That's what they say publicly...ask Bob. They got stealth paint technology from extraterrestrials.
