When I did this to my 944Turbo with bra paint...

It really needed paint bad. Though about doing the flames, with skull and crossbones on the doors and roof and checkered flag on the back. Also wanted to change all the interior lights to red, add a skull shift knob that the eyes light up red, and an big car stereo amp I found that was shaped like a skull and crossbones. And red lights under the car that changed to yellow under boost.

May have been more doable with a wrap.

It sure is nicer to go flying when it is in the 80s and not 100+. At altitude it was 66 degrees. I am gonna have to get a warm leather jacket soon. Opening the window at 100 MPH in cold weather is gonna be brutal.

I am uh "guessing" that the company buys it for me. It will likely have the company logo tastefully embroidered on it somewhere. And some heavy duty gloves.

The boss will probably keep it for himself.

He wants me in the airplane working hard, and freezing my hand off. The lazy bum would never do that work!

That is what why he pays with beer and food and lets me sleep with his wife.

With enough beer you won't know your hand is frozen! I suppose he might let you borrow the jacket now and then.

that and if the hands are cold the beer won't warm up as fast. Just remember the keep the cold hands off the boss's wife might earn a trip to HR for that one. At least till they warm up that is.

Unless the boss's wife is into that sort of thing. You never know.

I think the boss wife has all these gardening tools and digs the yard up often enough that no one will notice another hole. Cold hands issues may not make it to HR!

Yea, and the bosses wife watches ALL the homicide and serial killer shows. I have told my friends if I vanish to be sure to check all the flower beds, and look for a new concrete pad or a new greenhouse that appears in the back yard.

I feel fairly safe. She needs me to mow the yard, and wash her car, and dig holes for her plants.

OUCH! I just wrote the check for the excise tax and registration on the airplane. Lets just say it was just a little bit more than I paid for my first special ordered, brand new 1974 914 2.0.

At least from now on it will be just $84 per year for the registration if paid by March 15th of every year.

Mertnin

Today is my Friday this week. Get laser surgery on my eye tomorrow.

It's that post Cadillac thing to remove scar tissue from the back of the lens. Not supposed to be a big deal except they leave the tissue they remove inside the eye and expect it to settle to the bottom of the eye. Guess they are reluctant to poke another hole in the eyeball. Doesn't change the prescription, but makes it clearer because won't be looking thru the scar tissue.

Good Luck Richard.

It was a Big Snoopy Happy dance all over the garage. The 911 in roadworthy once again.

I "got" to put 20.7 gallons of premium no ethanol gas for 60 bucks and change. Ouch. No gas leaks is a real good thing.

Oklahoma moves another step closer to a more logical state on October 1st. Right now the grocery stores and gas station can only sell beer with 3.2% alcohol and the liquor stores can't sell cold beer. Oct 1st the grocery stores and gas stations can sell wine and regular cold beer. So I can finally go get a cold German beer at the local gas stations.

They means that right now the warehouses are empty of the old 3.2% beer that is still legal. And the stores are out and can't get more. The ware houses are stocked with normal beer but cant sell it until Oct. 1st. It is looking like all the beer available is the crappy stuff no one will buy. The had a bunch of Lime and Orange Bud Light. No thanks, I will go without. I may have to plan ahead, and go to the liquor store, pick a decent beer, and wait for it to get cold. BTDT.

It will be weird to walk into a grocery store and see wines and Erdinger Dunkle in a grocery store. I can't wait.
