Braum’s has the employees in masks and gloves. The check out person wipes down the credit card and the card reader, and the pen used to select credit or debit.

When I get back to my car I use hand sanitizer on my hands (duh) and then get in the car. I bring in the bag, and wipe down things. Then wash my hands with soap and water.

We are still getting some smaller flying projects. We did one they other day that was right close to the airport. Whenever we return from a project we fuel up the airplane to A: ties that cost to the clients project, B: have the airplane ready to go for the next mission. When he fueled up it was $25.08 and that was so little I called and asked my business partner about it. That was ll it took to fly the project. Normally it is $150 for an average, and up to $250.00 for full fuel load.

We don't have any of the medical grade N-95 masks. I do have 6 of the common old dust masks. I used one yesterday while using the leaf blower to blow off the sidewalks and the east side of the house sidewalk that had a thin layer of dirt from drainage after the big rains. It was a tornado of brown dust but it is mostly blown off now.

My wife said she saw where I we can put a coffee filter under the dust mask and make it better and close to N-95. I am skeptical. And the face masks don't help the wearer, just everyone else if the wearer has the virus. So it is just a placebo effect to the population.

You can make a face mask out of a sock.
And put almost anything under to filter better.

Don't think cling wrap, or duct tape would work very well though.

That is 100% effective in preventing the virus spread. Dead folks are immune!

When I was at Braum's all the employees were in in masks, but they all looked like the homemade ones, and they all were wearing gloves, and they were wiping things down with something constantly. Hopefully it was some sort of real cleaner, as I suspect it is, and not just water.

They have of course closed their dine-in seating, and all meals are carry out. Of the few other customers in the store, about 1/2 were in masks. One lady was paying with cash. That seems crazy as one has no idea where it has been and I sure don't want change back from a register full of other bills from unknown sources.

I wish they did the totally hands free Apple pay.

You have to wash gloves too, or take them off and put new ones on every time you touch something.

Our saftey departmen put out a video on this. The hand sanitizer they used was white so you could tell if you covered all of your gloves.

I have disposable gloves. When we went to Sam's I wore them. I just remove them and they turn inside out, and I throw them away. My hands are always sweaty afterwards, so I wash my hands anyways.

I do understand this is a bad pookie virus, but I don't think it is like Ebola or something to be paranoid about. I for sure don't want it, and I do take precautions, but I am not overly concerned about it.

I was looking around on the CBS all access web site since I had signed up for the free access. They have tons of the TV shows they have run going back a long time. Almost nothing I care about, but I did see the Gunsmoke series. I ended up watching the Season 1 Episode 1 of Gunsmoke. September of 1955 was the first airing. Wow, what a time warp. I had seen many of the old re-runs and we watched it when I was a kid, but I am sure I never saw the really early episodes.

It is funny with the 1955 morals of what was allowed on TV. They of course had Miss Kitty, that owns the Longbranch saloon, and she had "girls" working there. But evidently they were there just to flirt. One guy that was rich and powerful had a favorite dance hall girl, but got jealous when other guys talked to her at the bar.

OK, so they expect us to believe that in the wild west days, a "pretty lady" working in the bar is just there to keep the guys there longer and drinking, and buying drinks. And the rich and powerful men of the area came there just to talk to a girl, and even told everyone that she was "his" girl and no one else can talk to her. Yea, right.

Of course in that episode 5 men were shot and killed on camera, but the mention of the what might happen upstairs at a bar with working girls can't even enter into the conversation. Sounds like the 1950 reality TV.

Don't remember a bordello in the small town i was born in. Grandma's house was 2 blocks off main street. The house we lived in was 3 blocks the opposite way of main street and 2 blocks east. Grand dad's house was 3 block farther north and a block east of our house. There was a big park with a swimming pool and pond two block east of grandma's. Along main street was the pool hall my grandad played dominos in. A block off main street between grandma's and our house was the sheriffs office with jail and city hall, and the town funeral home. My mom's first husband's mother lived across the street from mom and dad's home.

We moved to okc when I was 1, my dad started working for the company I work for now. Parents rented out the old house.

The summer i was 4 my parents painted and fixed up the house for new renters. i would walk from grandma's house to our house and back by myself a lot. Was pretty bold at 4. Went into the jail and played dominos with a guy that was behind bars. Later found out he was the town drunk. Got told to leave the county seat court house checking out the file rooms in the basement. The guys playing dominos in the pool hall wouldn't let me play because they said I was too good because I played dominos with my grandad. Got run out of the funeral home checking out the caskets and embalming room.

When I went to visit my mom's first husbands mother she would fix me bacon and eggs then make me take a nap. She had a small unattached garage made into an appartment. I tried to talk to the couple living there. Later found they were deaf and couldn't hear me when I banged on their front door, or yelled at them.

Also walked to and played in the big park a lot.

Interesting they let a 4 year old wander around town by themself like that.

It looks like we may have at least 24 hours before the rain resumes. Wow, I can actually see the sky.

That big blob of rain finally moving out of your area gets to us tomorrow. Then off to the southern state like LA, MS and AL. They may get some of those bad spinning things.

Jim, your rain arrived last night, and will move out today. It is supposed to get to 70 degrees for a while, then Brent's cold ass front gets here, and it is going to be drop to 32 degrees of so. So shorts in the morning, and jeans this afternoon.

Monday morning!

It's 34°F outside? And it's more than 6 weeks past ground hogs day whether it saw it's shadow or not.

Taxes deadline this week. So nice to have mine done!

Yea, we went out yesterday afternoon and covered a lot of plants. We will go uncover them soon, and then tomorrow afternoon, cover them again. I am ready for spring and summer. The cold weather sucks.

Morning all. Week number 4 of the work from home thing. Online shopping was not to bad. Some of the substitutions were a bit odd but it beats going to the store and waiting in line to get into the store.
