Evening all, how are you all going?

Saw Dave's post about his Mum, so sad. Have had a few posts backwards and forwards, I hope he is okay.

So Dave, condolences on the passing of your Mum, if there is anything I can do from here in Oz, like chat in the middle of your night, let me know, I'll be sitting here in the daylight

Azzy, stay in the garage working on the 356, and you will remain virus free!

We are getting back to warm weather today. Mid 80s are back.

Dave, it is sad about your mom. My condolences. It is really hard to loose a parent no matter what your age.

Morning all. Looks like we are going to try the order online and have it delivered to the house game. Stores here started one way aisles and limiting the number of people in the stores. I don't want to stand around outside waiting my turn to get in I have work to do.

So if we put up solar now we have to pay a “line maintenance fee” and it almost negates the savings that putting up solar would get us.

Family built a farm house for Y2K. They put up wind generators and had a big shed that housed all the batteries and electrical panels so the farm would have power if the grid goes down. Since the property was one of the highest points around I told them I would do solar panels instead of wind power. Cause if there was really a Y2K problem wind generators sticking above the trees would make the place a target. Today the generators are selling extra power back to the grid.

I just made a quick dash to the local Braum's for a few items. They had hot dogs, but no buns, so like most hotdogs I ate growing up it will be on a piece of bread. They had no sliced lunch meat. I did get some more nanners, and a "half gallon" of ice cream. Like so many things the container of ice cream that was 1/2 a gallon is a bit short of that volume.

They had blue tape on the floor to designate 6 feet apart. The lady at the counter was in a mask and gloves. She squirted some sort of liquid on a hand towel, that I have to assume was a cleaning agent. She wiped down the credit card machine before I got up there, and the little pen that I have to poke the credit choice on the face of the machine with. I was in and out in a minute. I used hand sanitizer on my hands before I got back inside the car to avoid having to wipe down the steering wheel and controls again.

This has been a long week. We have one of those here that seem to not know how to get through life. How is it they sent out the information needed, then called me after the fact to see what the information is that they just sent out. I kid you not.

Like: Hey, everything you need is on the second tab of the site, then they call me to ask where everything you need is.

I could go on and on for days, but will spare you.

Funny, they have been promoted, demoted, promoted a couple time since I have been here.

I re-read my post and it wasn't very clear. They said "Hey everything you need is on the second tab" then called me to see where it was.

We purchased some casing to make some meat sticks. Anyone have a good recipe for landjeagers?

I remember now why we hired a lady to clean our house. I not never forgotten, but his crap sucks.

Mrs. Carrera aka the wife of the jerk boss is now making me vacuum the house. She did a lot of dusting and floor and porcelain cleanup. This vacuuming crap sucks figuratively and literally.

The lady that cleans house did not even want to phone in the work!

It has been many years since we had to do this crap. We are likely gonna be stuck doing it for a while. OK, it is official and serious now, the Covid-19 thing is affecting me not just "everyone else" so it real.

It was cloudy all day yesterday and we ended up feeding the grid 46kWh. The install happened just in time, as last Sunday the power company announced that all new installs would have a buy back price of 8.3c/kWh, down from 23.8c/kWh. They grandfathered the buy back price if you had your approvals granted before last Sunday.

My house getting dirty. My cleaning lady hasn't called or come by in a month. She don't to risk giving me the virus. Her other job is full time in a Walmart bakery. Making me feel like I'm one of those hoarders, only my house is piling up becauae I don't have the health to clean very well.

Had that low blood pressure episode taking the trash out and the bins to the street.
See where my law guy put just grass and leaves in one of my bins, The city is now saying we are supposed to put the lawn clippings in bags inside the bins, and they now don't pick up any bags only what is in the bins. Used to pick up extra bags if two trash bins were full and you could fill the bins without bags.

If I could train pepper to pickup and put things in the trash, that would great!
Actually, would just be happy if pepper put her toys away. Now she just carries them out to the back yard.

Our stockade fence along the entire back of the property is getting old and decrepit. Today it gets replaced. This photo shows a inset of part of the cross-member. It is just rotting away. The posts are all steel T posts so those are solid. Just unscrew the old, screw in the new. "Just that simple"

It is a 135 feet of fence along my back yard. My neighbors are old (like me) but they are just not able to help do the work and I am unwilling to try it by myself. So we are hiring a contractor to do it. It will provide him and his crew some money.

I have already figured out when I get my federal money I plan to spend it at restaurants with large tips on food orders.

Whew, I was almost to break a sweat from supervision duties watching the crew replacing the fence panels. It is a small family owned business, crew of three. The dad and two 20 something boys. They both call the old grey dad, so I am assuming they are his sons. Pretty tough critical thinking there.

My income taxes sure were different this year. Federal is usually around $300 I have to pay, and state refunds that amount. This year they were $7 federal and $7 state. So federal tax went down and state tax went up.
